This time is for real.....no excuses.

Congrats on the 2 pounds!! I feel you on the busy weekend. Your doing a great job, keep it up!

Yeah there are lots of mixed views on the calories and everyone's body is different. My only worry would be no matter how much you workout as you lose weight you have to lower your calories down and starting at 1600 doesn't allow much wiggle room. But if your happy there and its working for you then stick with it! I just get worried about it cause of what I went through for so long, but like you said.. were all different and what works for you might not work for me.

Horrible Migraine today. ICK! I ate crappy foods here and there (some chips..a bagle...one slice of frozen pizza) but not a ton of calories....probably about 1300. I don't know. No work out either. :( So now I am depressed and frustrated AND in pain. rrrrrrrrr. Bad day here. Hoping to wake up feeling better and do much better tomorrow.

Aww I hope you feel better today. I hate when my head hurts and lately regular headache medicine doesn't help them.

Haven't seen you around for a while. Hope your staying on track with the eating and working out. You better get your butt back here soon.. read your diary's title see.. no excuses.

Here I am.

For whatever reason I am having a hard time finding time to jump on here and post. I have been doing ok. Not great but not bad. I am weighing myself tomorrow so I wil have a poundage to verify that...lol. I just got my period (which was 3 wks late) and had the worst migraines last week (3 of them) so I have no idea where I stand.

Today was a great day tho. I ate healthy and after work did Billy Blanks Boot Camp DVD -God am I out of shape!!!!! Anyway. I had a starwberry banana protein shake for dinner (210 calories and 68 grams of protein!!)

So I feel better after a crap week and wil weigh in tomorrow with a weight to post. This is not happening as fast as I would like...but I know it takes time. And SOlty, thanks for the reminder...your right...NO EXCUSES!! =)

WOOO welcome back! Sorry to hear about the migraines :( It's good to see your staying on track though :p Wow thats a heck of a shake. What did you use in it to get 68 grams of protein for only 210 calories.. I need one of those lol. Really though glad to see you back:hurray:

I have been doing bad with logging in and posting regularly. I have been eating so-so and working out 2-3 x a week.
SO.......not really doing nearly as well as I should. This is the hump I can never ever get past. I am not counting calories anymore either. BUT.....will weighmyself tomorrow and start fresh.

I put the final payment down for our Cruise to the Bahamas the first week in Oct. My goal is to lose 40 lbs before then (yikes). I can do it. I know I can. I just have to work really hard. I am going to get back into the workout thing hard core and substitute protein shakes for dinner everynight except one. Thats the current plan. And eat healthy stuff during the day as well.

If at first you don't succeed..... try and try again, right?

So....her'e we go again. One of these times has to work, right?????

You can do it. Thats about 10 pounds a month so you just need to make sure your on track everyday. You should have a little something with your protein shake for dinner. Maybe veggies or fruit.. even some carbs couldn't hurt. It sounds like your feeling motivated again so thats good!

What are you doing for exercise now? If just cardio I want to beg you to go buy a cheap set of weights and start a strength training routine. Losing weight is great but losing weight and revealing a tight toned body under there is even better, especially on a cruise :p The way lunges.. squats, curls, chest press etc.. change your body is amazing.

Stick with it!! You'll be a hot momma come cruise time.

Thanks buddy ;)

I have been mixin it up. This week....
Mon-Run/walk for 2 miles
Tues-Pilates
Wed-Spin class (1 hr)
Thurs-Strength training class (1 hr)

Tomorrow I am taking off, as I anticipate not being able to move much from tonights class...killer. The guy teaching it was lunge happy. Holy soreness!!
But as my hubby says...Pain is weakness leaving the body ;)

I did feel still really hungry after the shake. I ate ok today tho I think....especially considering how hard I worked out.

Br-Bagle w/ cream cheese and coffee
Lunch-BLT Sandwhich, Diet coke
SN-Berry Protein smoothie
Din-Spinach and chicken salad, string cheese
Sn-mini bb muffin pouch.

In my estimations it is under 1800 calories so I am ok with that. :) Overall it has been a great week, and I am very motivated. I will jog sat a.m. then take sunday off again. I think that schedule will work for me. Fridays and Sundays off.

TTFN :)

Hey girl! Just checking in to see how you are doing! Sorry I've been off the wagon a bit but wanted to say hello! Keep up the good work!

Hey girl! Saw bansheebee posted on here and wanted to read what you had to say. Girl, good luck with your journey, you WILL get there!!!! I read your first post and it was great to see.... i needed that reminder myself. Anytime you are feeling burnt out from your healthy lifestyle... just go back and read that to yourself!!!!!

I am very much like you in that i get to the point about 2 weeks into whatever it is i decide i want to start doing... and i am SO OVER IT!!!!

try to push through it. I know logging on here helped me stick with it. Also before pictures are a MUST. also measurements are a MUST... those are somedays the ONLY gages i have for my progress and having those has saved my butt from quitting this journey many times! I strongly suggest it!!!!!

I am 4 months into my weightloss goal.... and there have been ups and downs.... buts its totally worth it. You can do it girl!

I decided when my friend was 5 months pregnant... and still looked thinner and weighed less than me..... it was time to CHANGE MY LIFE.

it always takes one little trigger... alot of times, just like you and I ran into, its a friend who doesnt mean to help us along... but they do. Your friend was venting... mine just got knocked up hahaha.

GOOD LUCK GIRL!!!!! I will stop by often to cheer you on!!! Feel free to read through my journal... ill warn ya... im a nut though!!! hehe.

happy trails! :):hurray::hurray::hurray:

heya :) Just stopping in to say hi. Hope your doing good. Just rememeber progress may be slow.. at times it will be hard.. but doing nothing gets you no where :p Come back and check in with us soon.

Wow.... It has been soooo long since I've logged in! Life got super busy and I kept meaning to, but just didn't :(

I have been doing ok with my goal. Some weeks better than others, but I am losing, so that's good. I am currently hovering between 193-194. Still have a ways to go, but also not the 212 I was when I made this commitment. I have been workingout a ton this summer if my eating was better on the weekends i'd be losing faster. One week at a time... That's how I'm taking it. I burnt out on writing every meal/ calorie down pretty quick. I am just focusing on making healthier food choices/ smaller portions, and excercise. I threw away a pair of "fat jeans" because they wouldn't even stay up anymore ... That felt great!

My current mini goal is to weigh 170 byy cruise in October. If I stay focused I can do it.

I want to go check in on a few of you... But I have to leave or I'll miss my favorite class of the week at the gym. I will come back tonight to fix my tracker and say what's up :)

Congrats on dropping some pounds! Throwing away fat clothes is always a good feeling. You can reach your goal for your cruise for sure.

My progress would be faster if I controlled my weekends better, but I think I might burn out completely if I tried to eat 100% good all the time.

It doesn't matter how long it takes to reach a happy weight anyway. Its a lifetime thing to be healthy.

I'm glad your back even if you can't write much. Everyone else has stopped writing... or gone somewhere else. I missed having company! lol
