This is the Mark Ripptoes starting strength routine. I was suggested it on another forum where its pretty popular and was wondering what you guys thought of it.

It's decent, theres no way I would be able to squat on a wednesday if I had done squats on monday though. I also don't think you need both a barbell bench and dumbbell in the same workout
thats not really what he has in his book. i did something like that when i first started lifting and went from 125lbs to 180lbs with it.
i started with just lifting twice a week with squats leading the first workout then deadlifts leading the second workout. then after awhile i went to lifting 3x a week.
it was just a matter of adding more weight to the bar. his book and the book brawn are good reads.
