This is the time

That's certainly the polite version of it, yes ;)
:) There's another version?

:D

So how many calories does jello wrestling burn per hour? Keep up the awesome work!

I think we can make these automatically available, otherwise you may need to bring your own favourites:

Go for it. I'm sure the kicks have tightened a different section of my thighs. :D

Hi Felici!

Well done of that video, I've never heard of Billy Blanks over here, but loads of people on here have said it is a really tough workout so well done!
I'm sure it would be a lot tougher if done correctly rather than my own "heel pointing where?!!" version. :D

I don't think I was in here yesterday! Sorry, sometimes your diary is hard to find. I think because of different times zones. Have great whatever time of day it is there!!:D :D

Îs that how you buy your jello in those packages - it is weird how different things are and look from different places...as far as Billy - well I think modifying it and doing it is just as good - he dishes out pretty tough work outs...

Well she lent me 2 tapes - "Advanced" and "8 minute". I was going to do the 8 minute because I didn't have much time. However, then I read at the beginning that you are supposed to progress to it through 3 other videos first. However, I didn't have the first two so I decided I would just give "Advanced" a go anyway. It was a nice change of pace and I didn't feel like I was hurting myself. My son did some karate a while ago and was nearby while I did it - he found me entertaining anyway - mostly because he understood the gap between my efforts and the genuine requirements even better than I did I think. :)

The 8 min one os great even though it is only 8 minutes it is one hell of a work out:):):) The idea of the 8 minute on eis for ppl who dont have alot of time but still wanna get an effective work out in...

aaawww now you have me motivated to get my room organized and start doing the vids agian...I moved the vcr into my bedroom but now it is to messy to do a vid in - i need to re-arrange my living and move the treadmill outta my bedroom and a cpl other things so I can have the space I need to do my yoga and start tae bo agian:):):)

Mechelle - Hi! I'm guessing you are about 14 hours behind me. Which seems like a weird thing to say seeing as I perceive you as up and about and posting before me most of the time! :) I am posting this at 10:00 in my evening. Things are still looking fine here. :)

kezzy - I get the idea that you are not taking this jello wrestling challenge as seriously as you could. Yet diet jello wrestling has been given the tick of approval by the National Heart Foundation here in Australia and is expected to overtake the new McDonald's Heart Healthy meals as the latest fitness craze.

Cerella -
Actually I'm more familiar with this:

and we call it "jelly". :D Lots of differences. :)

Videos can be a lot of fun. I understand about the hassles involved in getting the space set up properly - I have trouble just getting a TV at a time to suit me. :)

Jello Intimacy
Hmmmmm intresting:confused: Not sure Ive heard of that before...One might suppose it was the same as jello wrestling but with a stronger content rating?!?;)
Look at those food choices! I need to copy your menu...:D

Hi sleepless. Yes, I was guessing the same thing as you there. Unfortunately I couldn't find a specific calculation for the jello wrestling. I really think it must be somewhere in the middle of those three activities. You'd need to allow for things like the degree of participation too. Actually that last chart had a lot of categories - it might have had a rating for audience members also.

Yesterday's food was fairly satisfying for me. However I didn't spread the veges out properly. I did wait too long between meals and so lunch with no veges was only ok because I busy after that. Also I was ravenous when I started the burger which of course disappeared fairly fast.

I find veges/salad a good option to add on because they take so long to eat that it gives me a chance to start feeling full. Some of them have a teensy amount of calories and such a lot of good stuff in them. They are good value - heaps more tasty these days for me because I don't have other sweet stuff much, so the young fresh veges actually taste pretty sweet even before they are dressed/dipped.

Oh my god, I hear you on the being ravenous by the time supper comes because of missing afternoon snack. My grilled chicken sandwich didn't stand a chance. I need more veggies too. Sometimes I just get plain lazy and don't feel like cutting up one more damn vegetable you know?? lol

I do know. I am happy to grab celery, mushrooms, carrot (if it's not old), capsicum, broccoli, snow peas or sugar snap peas out of the fridge and just rinse and eat them. I guess it would be boring for all the time but it's worthwhile being able to just grab and munch yet feel virtuous. Yet with all that it's not much trouble to do that, sometimes I still skip at lunchtime. Also if there is anything I will "forget" at breakfast it will be the tomato juice...

Beer is a vegetable. Well, it is in some circles.
Would this be the "wine is fruit", circle, "martini's are antipasto circle", "whisky is bread" circle, or am I just getting my Venn diagrams in a muddle here?
Is this a mushroom or ??? What is it - LOL

This "mushroom capsicum mushrooms" is a kinda typo!! Sorry! :D

Capsicum is a bell pepper. I always buy red ones for salad. I like the smallish thick fleshed variety. Originally I told myself that it was worth being fussy because it kept the children onside about the veges... :)...it definitely has a pay off for me too though! :)

Ugh... Mushrooms...

Well, some of the expensive ones are okay, I just hate the normal white mushrooms and button mushrooms. They taste like what they grow on, and the texture is awful.
But, if they make you happy, go for it ;)
After all, they are low-calorie foods :D

So it is a bell pepper - ok gotcha :D:D:D

Re: mushrooms :)

I eat fresh, firm, button (or cup) mushrooms raw. I don't eat them if they're older or soft, and I prefer to keep big, dark field mushrooms for cooking. The little ones are nice as part of a vege tray for dipping, or sliced with other salad in a sandwich, or as part of a stack on a cracker, or chopped up in with lots of other veges and a nice (low cal, low fat) dressing in salad. They pack a punch as far as goodies go (18 different minerals and vitamins and for a vege quite a lot of protein) and have very few calories (15 per cup). :) They are a different colour to other veges and when you bite them the textures quite different to other veges - so good for contrast.

:D :D :D Mushrooms are like little white vegetable friends. :D :D :D

Qjay - mine must grow on nice mushroom flavoured compost!! :)
