Hey guys
I've been using this forum for a few years but have been using another smaller one for a while.
Anyways I thought it would be good to start posting here again as well since I read through everyone's diaries for inspiration anyway. Been struggling with cravings a bit lately so need to a new burst of motivation and to keep myself accountable!!

Little background info for those who don't know me, I'm currently around 115. I haven't weighed in a while cause I'm trying to just focus on my body shape.I started off at about 170 a few years ago when I was just 15! I'm 5'5 btw. Now I'm 20, turning 21 in October and working on maintaining. Have been for about a year now but not quite finished yet seeing as I wanna tone up now. I'm starting to see definition but need to step it up a notch!
Plus I've been on holiday a few times this year so need to make sure I keep my weight in check. So far I've been to Amsterdam and Thailand and off to Menorca in August. Possibly Ireland for the weekend too. In the past I've been to France, Rome, Bulgaria and Tenerife. I wanna conquer the world haha!!
I'm craaaaazy about traveling. Next year I'm planning to travel Europe and go back to Thailand and maybe travel South East Asia. And my friend wants to me to go stay with them in Mauritius. So I gotta be careful with the monieeees too! Hopefully get a job when I go back to university in October. I'm on summer break at the moment, which helps a lot since I don't drink alcohol much when I'm home and also my parents buy my food!

I have a few goals I plan to stick too.
- Stick to my calories, gradually working my way up to 1600.
- Work out at least 30 minutes a day.
- Keep up with my skin care routine [face and body].
- Be good with money.

To help me stick to these I have to remember
- Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels!
- If I wanna go to all these glamourous countries, I gotta look hot!
- I still wanna get asked for ID [I do now] in my late 20s!
- A new dress will make me happy for a night but could pay for a whole days worth of food and accommodation while traveling!

Ok doing pretty well this week, TOMs around though so it doesn't feel like it yet.

In terms of my goals

- Stick to my calories, gradually working my way up to 1600.
Been having around 1400 since I'm so bloated and had a binge last week. After a week of perfect eating and being more active I'll try and increase to 1500.
- Work out at least 30 minutes a day.
Check! Well yesterday I did 20 minutes and then went shopping so walked around for an hour or 2. Then went to bingo with mum and its a 20 minute walk so there and back was 40 minutes. Haven't done it today yet cause I'm watching the footy [GO ENGLAND!] but plan to do 40 minutes as soon as it finishes.
- Keep up with my skin care routine [face and body].
Yep! Been cleansing and moisturizing every night. As well as a weekly steam! Gonna fake tan it tonight as my real ones starting to fade damn!
- Be good with money.
Technically yes! I went shopping but only bought a dress and it was £6!! BARGAAAAIN.

So yeah I'm feeling puffy and bloated but I know the drill by now. By Friday it should all be over and I'll be back to normal. Possibly going out drinking tomorrow night, then a meal for my mums 50th Friday, then have to move out of my uni house Sunday so will probably be a busy few days. Takes my mind of food! But have to be careful with how much I eat and drink!

Half time's over so gonna go watch the rest of the match.

Having a pretty good day today.
Got up, had brekkie, 30 minutes of calisthenics, showered, had lunch then went into town with my sister.
I'm knackered now though! Think hay-fever doesn't help matters.
Anyways its my mums 50th tomorrow so gonna bake her a chocolate fudge cake in the morning then we're gonna go into town and surprise her with flowers and balloons when she finishes work.
Then in the evening going out to dinner. Already know its gonna be a pretty calorific day but ah well its a special occasion and its only one day! I'll make sure I exercise when I get up.

On a side note, TOM should be gone by tomorrow woohoo!

Woah I am tireeeeed today!

- Got up at 7am and went food shopping
- 20 minutes intervals on Stationary Bike
- Went back to uni to move out of my house
[walked up and down stairs a good 10 times with suitcases etc]
- Went to pick up some cat food and finally came home.

It might not sound alot but its feels like I did a hell of alot of physical activity today, and that was all done by 3pm! So now I'm knackered. Plus I didn't have a chance to eat lunch till 4pm so I was running on porridge and some raspberries that whole time.
Now that TOMs cleared off I'm gonna get back into my cardio again. I thought I didn't really need it but since over the summer holidays I can be extremely sedentary at times it can't hurt Plus the added benefit of improving my cardiovascular health!! Before I went to Thailand I was doing this and I think I was starting to become more 'toned'. So my routine should alternate daily between.

- 40 minutes calisthenics
- 20 minutes interval training


I ate alot last night but it was a special occasion and I knew I would. Mainly in the form of desserts and the yummy cake I made! Todays a new day.
Gotta stay positive!!

So today is Sunday which is generally a lazy day. We sit at home, watch TV and have a roast dinner. I decided against the roast dinner today though since I can still feel the effects of Friday night.
I've done 30 minutes calisthenics so far, and gonna do at least another 10 minutes later. Then I'll do 20 minutes on the stationary bike tomorrow. I would do both today but don't wanna end up overworking myself.
I'm trying to stick around 1200-1300 just for a day or two till I feel back to normal which will hopefully be tomorrow.

I've ordered some more Bio oil off the internet. I used it before but run out and haven't bought more cause its a bit pricey but I found some for half price woohooo! It honestly does wonders with your skin I love the stuff! I have just over a month till Menorca and I want my skin looking great when I have to bare all on the beach. Tonight I'm gonna have a bath, steam my face etc. Basically buff everything up again then put some gradual tanner on before bed. Going to the theatre for my mums birthday surprise so wanna make an effort for that too.

Just over half an hour till the next England match vs Germany...YIKES!
We haven't been playing to well lately - not feeling to confident about this one.

Yesterday I went to the theatre for my mums birthday. We saw We Will Rock You and it was amaaaaazing!
We were out from 5pm - 11pm though so didn't get to have a proper dinner. I was gonna have some fruit when I got in but was so tired and ended up going straight to bed. So calories were a bit low at just 1113 yikes!

Yesterday was meant to be a cardio day but still did 15 minutes of yoga along with 20 minutes HIIT on the stationary bike.

Today was meant to be a calisthenics day so I did 40 minutes but just did 20 minutes HIIT on the stationary bike too lol. Might as well take the motivation while I got it! I feel kinda guilty when I don't go on my bike after doing it for a few days, plus it has a few other added benefits. E.g. keeps my digestion moving smoothly and I'm pretty sure its making my skin look fresher.

I think I've exercised so consistently the past few days because I won't be able to exercise at all tomorrow although I'll be quite active walking around all day [plus I can't guarantee what food will be] Then I might not have time to exercise at the weekend so might aswel do it when I have the time.

Its hot in England but I really wanna have a bath later. Need to soak my muscles and just chill out for a little while. Gotta get up at about 7am tomorrow and probably wont be home till 9/10pm. My Bio Oil came today woohoo! Should last me a good 2 months at least. Already put some on this morning and will put some more on tonight before bed.

Only 37 days till I jet off to Menorca for 10 days. Gotta have a HOT BOD!!

Woah had a busy few days.
Ended up going to the seaside Wednesday for my mums birthday. Was out from 7am till 9pm. Then on Thursday went to Brighton till Saturday which included alot of food and booze! Then came home and had my mums 50th that night which included food, booze and cake and yesterday I went to Southend which is another beach lol.
When I came home on Saturday I did manage a quick 15 minutes on the bike before I had to meet my friend. And I have done alot more walking than usual the past few days but I've also eaten loaaaads. So I've probably put on a bit but at least I wasn't sitting all day.
So its exactly a month today till my holiday and I have to work my ass off for the next 10 days. I'm going to stay with a friend from the 15th till he 20th so won't be able to exercise then. So when I come back I'll have about 2 weeks to work out.
Plan for today is the stationary bike first. Need to work on burning the extra calories off. Then might do some strength training later if I feel I can. If not I'll do a 40 minute session tomorrow. Gonna keep my calories around 1200-1300 just for a few days.
 
Wow, sounds like you've had a crazy time!

You seem to be travelling a lot over this year, wish I had the time/money to travel!

Yeah it was a pretty good weekend! Not so good for my body but ahh well it was worth it. You're so lucky you live in Austrailia! It's one of the places I'd love to visit :)

I've done 30 minutes worth of calisthenics today. I also walked 20 minutes to the supermarket with my mum, walked around for about 45 minutes shopping and then carried it all back! So that probably burned off a few calories. Tomorrows gonna be a cardio day with at least 20 minutes HIIT on the stationary bike. Will probably end up doing some yoga aswell.

Calories past few days
Sunday - 1000
Monday - 1385 [was 1200 but my friend gave me a chocolate bar and I felt rude refusing]
Tuesday - 1200
Tomorrow - 1200-1300

I have 10 days until I go away for the weekend. Then after that 19 days before my holiday. If I stick at it pretty sure I can make some significant changes before I go.
I feel really motivated right now and ready to go HARD on the bike tomorrow! I don't want a really muscular body but a nice taut one and I need to step it up a notch! I'm getting there slowly just gotta keep things consistent now. I can do this!!
 
Ok so its 1.30 pm here and so far I've had breakfast, done 20 minutes HIIT on the bike and had lunch. GO ME!
Not feeling completely drained either like I did the other day. Guess my body was still tried from my hectic weekend at that point. I'll either do another 10 minutes later or some yoga. Rest of todays food will probs be fruit and yoghurt and then a chili con carne type thing or cod monray for dinner. Still wanna keep cals around 1200 but will start increasing a bit at the weekend when I'm confident I've repaired some of last weeks damage!
Gonna have a bath in a min then might read the last bit of Breaking Dawn. I've been putting it off cause I don't want it to be over! Eclipse comes out in England Friday......:hurray:
Getting my hair cut tomorrow, always makes me feel good :) Then possibly going to bingo with my mum since its free on a Thursday, might win some much need monieeees!
 
Hey I just caught up with you diary...I will start off by saying congrat on the loss and on mainting wich is also hard!!!! You are gonna love Eclips I saw it last week and I would go back to see it. Best of the movies so far!!! Keep up the great work!

Thank you :) Ahhh I'm so excited about Eclipse going to see it tomorrow woohoooo! Have you read the books? I'm on the last few chapters of Breaking Dawn but trying to read it slowly because I don't want it to be over haha. Apparently she's writing another book from Edward's perspective though!

Today I've done my 30 minutes calisthenics but don't feel as washed out as I normally do so might do some more lunges or something later. I would go on the bike but I've already had a shower and going to get my hair cut in an hour. I ended up doing 15 minutes of yoga as well yesterday. Will probably go bingo tonight with my mum as its a 20 minute walk there and back. Will still try and stick to 1200 until tomorrow. I forgot how little that is though! After tomorrow I'll definitely start increasing to 1300/1400 again. Starting to see some definition in my abs!
Tomorrow I might go shopping with my mum in the morning, then going to see Eclipse!!! YAAAAY! I don't ever buy food at the cinema though, way to expensive and calorific. Its like £6/7 for a hot dog and drink

Wooooah I am pooped!
Woke up at 7am after not being able to sleep properly past 6.30 am. Had breaky then went on the bike, showered and went shopping with mum. Got quite alot of walking in and ended up spending quite a bit of money...oops! Come home, had lunch and just got back from seeing Eclipse.

Haha anyways done well with food today. Between 1200-1250 and done 20 minutes HIIT on the bike. So along with all my walking around town I've probably created quite a deficit today. Tomorrow its another early start but to go food shopping. Then will probably soak up the rays and top up the tan since its so hot in London right now! Gotta make the most of the sun while we got it.
I'm wondering whether I should try and stick at 1200 till I go to my friends house next week but at the same time its harder than I remember it being! So will probably raise it to 1300 again tomorrow and see how that goes. 100 calories really makes a difference when it comes to feeling satisfied! Probs won't raise it to 1400 again till I know I've been good.

Anyways home alone till about 11pm so gonna have a nice relaxing night in and probably try my new clothes on.

Been a pretty good day.
Up at 7am, had breaky and went food shopping till 11am.
Came home and had fruit and yoghurt. Then about an hour later had lunch and spent a few hours in the garden soaking up some Vitamin D.
Bought this vanilla flavored sweetener thing which is only 7 calories per sachet and thought I could add it to my porridge in the morning sometimes. Also bought some ground cinnamon so that I could have it with my porridge and banana in the morning. Sounds nice in theory? It's weird I used to hate both of them but I get random cravings and now I love them! Strange how our palette changes over time.
Was feeling sooo tired, probably from the heat, but managed to force myself to do my calisthenics anyway and instead of just 30 mins...I did 40 mins woop! Threw in 3 sets of lunges and two sets of press-ups which are always the hardest for me so I'm quite proud of that. Tomorrows a cardio day with probably 15 minutes of yoga later in the day.
In the right light I'm starting to see definition in my abs which is pretty cool. You can see it even better when I have a tan so might put some gradual tanner on tomorrow lol when I poke my midsection it feels harder too. I'm getting there slowly.
Calories were 1237. I actually thought I was under but miscalculated, and once I'd figured it out I'd already eaten to compensate. Well not really since this week I'm aiming between 1200-1250. It was actually a lot easier today and I feel stuffed after my dinner. Gonna keep it between 1200-1300 till Friday.
I now have 6 days before I go to spend a few days at my friends place, so technically that means 3 cardio days and 3 calisthenics but I'll probably end up doing both on some days because I know I'll be exercise-less for a few days.

You'd think I'd be happy with my body after loosing weight but even though I'm in the best shape I've ever been I can still be quite critical. I know this happens to a lot of people. Its slowly improving though. Stupid thing is I don't really give a damn what other people think, it's what I think that bothers me. Guess you're always you worst critic ay?

Anyways feeling pretty positive today. Been so good with my eating this week and started logging on caloriecount again to see if I'm getting the right balance of nutrients. Bought some Multivitamins + Iron today and already taking Omega-3. I'm also using my Bio-oil every day which is reaaaally good for your skin. Its less now about weight and more about being the best I can be and I might as well start young.

P.S. I only just realized you can calculate your deficit for the week on caloriecount. Apparently I've created a deficit of 3691! Think I'll weigh in Monday, haven't in ageeeees

Ok think I'm gonna take the plunge tomorrow and weigh in. Will see if I feel 'light' or not in the morning though lol.
Today calories have been 1230. Did 20 minutes HIIT on the bike and got up to 2 miles which I haven't before woop woop! Before that I also did 15 minutes of yoga so pretty good diet and exercise wise.
Tomorrow I'm going into London to watch at TV show recording so will probably be out of the house from 9.30 till about 4ish. If I have time I'll make lunch to take with me or get a healthy subway. I'll take one of my cereal bars to snack on too. Gonna wake up at about 7/7.30 so I can eat breaky, wait a while then do calisthenics. Will probably only manage to get in 30 minutes so I'll prioritize the hard stuff e.g. lunges, press ups etc. Shower, then leave.
Doubt I'll have enough energy when I get back to do any cardio but I woulda got a bit of walking in especially if we go for a walk round London afterwards. Then Tuesday I have another early start since I have a doctors appointment. Nothing serious just need a repeat prescription for my contraceptive pill. Then Wednesday possibly meeting up with a friend and Thursday morning getting my highlights done again.
I've decided I'm gonna work out on the bike Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Thursday I won't wanna get sweaty cause I would of just got my hair done lol. That evening I'll probably go to bingo with my mum though so thats a bit of extra walking. Calisthenics will still be Tuesday and hopefully Thursday but I might switch this to Friday since I won't wanna mess my hair up haha.

I put a bit of tan on last night and gonna put another layer on tonight since it didn't show that much. Can't wait to get my highlights touched up since the tan really helps bring out the blonde and green in my eyes!! I wanna feel good for my little weekend away. On a side - and slightly strange - note I've discovered a way of making my less that ample chest look bigger. Two bras!! Haha sorry if thats TMI but I tried it the other day because I needed to fill out my new dress and it actually works quite well. Will probs start doing it more often...no one knows but me right :rotflmao:
 
Quite proud of how I did today since I was out for most of the day.
I had my normal breaky but added 1/4 tsp of cinnamon. I was a bit skeptical but I loooove it and apparently its really good for you. So thats gonna become a regular thing now.
Did 30 minutes of calisthenics but mainly push-ups, lunges, squats etc to make the most of my time. Tomorrows a cardio day, I'm noticing that its really speeding up my toning. My core feels alot stronger quicker when I incorporate cardio?
Anyways got quite a bit of walking in and calories were 1259. According to Calorie Count I've created a deficit of 5039 in the last 8 days. Dunno how accurate that would be but I'll take it!
I chickened out on weighing in this morning but think I might make myself tomorrow. I'm just worried it might be more but I gotta get out of this mind frame of letting a number annoy me. I'm pretty sure I'm in the best shape I've even been I'm just curious to know.

Oh and apparently my sodium intake is too low, is that a bad thing??
There's a history of high blood pressure in my family so I would of thought it would be good?

Protein 77 g - 119%
Fats 27 g - 63%
Carbohydrates 173 g - 106%
Sodium 123 mg - 5%
Fiber 26 g - 103%
Calcium 782 mg 78%

I also take Omega-3 and a Multivitamin + Iron.
 
Hmm, you might be consuming more sodium than that anyway- it is soo low! It might mean that when you do have a salty food then your body will react more harshly to it? I'm not sure! But low sodium will help against the high blood pressure history I think.

As for the calorie deficit- it could be accurate, but it realies on things like you knowing how your metabolism works and getting fitday to have the appropriate setting for your bmr and stuff. I don't pay much attention to it cause a lot of the things like machines saying how much you've burned can be quite off. I just figure eat the right amout of cals (as far as you know), eat healthy foods and exercise and the weight should come off anyway.

Had my doctors appointment this morning and forgot they weigh you. I weighed in at 55.4/5 kg so around 122 lbs? Last time I weighed was about 2 months ago and I was around 115! Since it was after breaky and I had clothes on I'm probably actually more like 119/120 which I'll check tomorrow morning. Thing is I'm pretty sure the majority of that must be muscle cause I feel like I'm the best shape I've been in right now. So while I'm not stressing about that number, I will keep an eye on things just to make sure it doesn't creep up.
I guess in the long run I'd rather be toned and weigh more than pure skinny fat!! Which I was a few months ago!
Planning to do my cardio in the afternoon today when I usually have more energy and can then have a nice long relaxing bath before dinner now its actually cooler again!
 
I weighed in this morning and it actually read 118lbs! So thats a lot better than I thought.
Yesterday I weighed heavier on my home scale than the doctors one - around 2 lbs - so I might actually be 116lbs but I'm not too bothered.
Did 40 minutes calisthenics including 3x10 lunges, 2x6 press-ups, 3x30 second planks and 1x45 rowing squats. The rest consisted of various yoga poses and repetitions.
I might go on the bike later. I usually get a burst of energy in the afternoon!
I'm thinking some self-tannage tonight since I'm looking a bit pale again. Getting my highlights redone tomorrow morning and meeting up with a friend for coffee afterwards which should be nice.
Then Friday I'm off for a few days woooo :hurray:

EDIT: I'm about to have a bath to help soothe my headache so won't get a chance to go on the bike. However I HAVE to go on it tomorrow when I get home. You have permission to kick my ass if I make an excuse...kapeesh?
