This... Is going to be hell.

Well I have decided, to get better gains, I am going to need to go through hell. I am sick of being idiot, and taking my time. I am no longer going to do that, I'm going to step up and take control of this.

What do I plan on doing?

First of all, I need to change my routine for when I work out, not what I do, the time. I am doing it at random times of the day, when I find time, this has proven useless, and ends up with me delaying over and over.

I have decided the only real time I always have free - is EARLY in the morning. Not 7, not 8, not 9. 5 AM! I will start to pace myself, to be able to get up that early without being dead theat day. Every day of the week, 5 AM, and to bed at 9-10 PM. 7-8 hours of sleep per night.

During the morning I will get up, eat my meal, make my lunch, and food for school. As soon as I'm done (probably around 6) I will pack up, and catch the bus to my gym, about a 30 min bus ride, since I need to take 2 buses to reach it. From 6:40 - 7:20 I will be working out, doing my regular training, but harder. 7:20 - 7:30 - shower, and get dressed.

I will have about 20 min. to get to school, on the way back I will only need to take 1 bus, so I should always get to school on time.

I will be eating every 3 hours, and these will be full means. That adds up to about 7 meals a day. During this time I will cram as much food into me as possible. Lean food. ONLY drinking water and milk, no coffee, no pop. Most important - NO JUNKFOOD, or UNHEALTHY FOODS! I will be staying on my diet each day, every day, unless I have a reason to change it.

These are some pretty durastic time changes, I hope I can cope with them. We'll see.

I plan to do this from the beginning of the summer, untill about Nov..

Dude, I was the same as you. EXACT same plan, and everything. But take it from me, I recently switched to working out in the evenings, and MAN could I feel it. Weight training is WAY better in the evening. Trust me. Cardio is okay in the morning and all, but for weight training, screw 5 am. Hit it at like 5pm.

at 5am your probobly too tiered to do much effective weight training.. i know for a fact i would NOT be able to pull 100kg deadlift early in the morning. what you need is a full body workout

the drive and determination is admirable but you simply will not train hard enough so early.

cardio is ok at that time as you can almost switch off and drag yourself round, weights, however, are more physically and mentally demanding. at 5 am your mind, body and interest will just not be 100% so the extra effort of getting up will be wasted.

I'll test it out, if I can't work out hard enough in the morning, I will find time in th evening. Most body builders find it better to work out in the morning...

Contrary, most bodybuilders find it easier to work out in the afternoon/evening than extremely early in the morning. Cardio workouts in the morning are more common.

Make sure you are gettin the right amount of sleep.. at least 6-7, 8 to be best.

It really depends on what type of person you are I think. I find myself much more energetic when I first wakeup, and I slowly get less energetic throughout the day. Personally I think it'll work for ya if you are a morning person. I find that if I have to drag myself into the gym in the afternoon, I'll be pretty much dead.
