Today has been a busy day, but I wanted to start my new blog today, so I am going to keep the first post short, and write a more detailed post tomorrow.

Basically I started at 305ish pounds. Got down to 180. And unfortunately fell off the wagon and gained 20 back. So starting tomorrow I will be blogging my daily meals again, showing progress pics, and documenting my progress with running. I am not a runner, YET! That is my main goal. Not to be skinny, but to be strong.

My ideal weight, according to the health authorities, is between 110 and 130, but my personal goal is 155. Please join me on this journey. I've been on it for awhile, and right now I'm having a moment of weakness. Hopefully I can kick ass once again!

My goal is to be a runner as well! I started two days ago, running for 10 minutes. I've also signed up for a 5k in September to be my motivation. I don't want to have to walk it, I want to run every part of it!

Can't wait to watch you progress and get to your goal weight!
 
Well I've been reading my old blog, and I don't feel as bad about gaining some weight back now. This time last year I was 193, so only 7 pounds lighter then I am now. I guess when you look at the big picture, thats not too bad. Maybe I should shoot for 8 pounds a month.

Tomorrow morning the plan is to goto the gym. I haven't been to the gym for awhile now, and when I do go, it's nothing consistent. Time to get serious again.
 
Today is my first official day for being back on a plan. I'm on my way out to take a walk at a park. We're getting hit by that massive heat wave right now so I should be sweating my butt off!

Yesterday my eating was off because it was my mom's birthday and she wanted to celebrate with food. I did ok though.

First weigh in
199.6 lbs

Thats terrible! I was 178 in March. I should probably find a doctor and start taking my thyroid medicine again too, if I want to lose weight to the best of my abilities.
 
Tomorrow I weigh in. Hopefully I have lost, even if its a little. I'm working myself back into my program slowly. I haven't started exercising regularly but I'm making sure i'm more active at least.

I just got a treadmill yesterday from a friend. It's old, and loud, but It'll work just fine, I hope! Today I'm kayaking, so that'll be my workout for today.

Also, I just found I'm going to be a maid of honor in a year, so now I have even more motivation to lose the weight!
 
Weighed myself today. I'm down 1.2 pounds from last week. Thats good for a few reasons.
1. I'm not on my thyroid medicine so any loss is great! (Yeah, I'm working on finding a new doctor to treat it)
2. While my eating was better, it still wasn't great. This week I'll be even more strict.
3. I didn't exercise much, but I was still trying to be more active then I have been lately.

If I could lose between 1 and 2 pounds a week, that would be a good pace for me.

Last week: 199.6
This week: 198.4

Thats a lot better then I expected. I guess it'll slow down eventually, but maybe i'll get into the 180's by september! That'd be pretty sweet.

Friday night I drank a bit, but I only had one heavy drink. The rest were diet cokes and vodkas. I also ate some bad food, but I only ate a small amount. I had a slice of pizza, one mozzarella stick, and like, 8 fries. Then I did a lot of walking on the boardwalk.

So this week was a success. I'm aiming for 1.5 this week. I hope everyones week went well too!
 
After weeks, well 2 months to be accurate, of avoiding the gym, I finally went today. I only did the treadmill for 35 minutes, but I ran for about 13 minutes of that. Tomorrow I plan on running for 15 minutes instead. I run to every other song on my playlist.

I am always so tired after work, I'm on my feet most of the time. But after going to the gym today, I gotta admit, I felt better physically, and mentally. So hopefully I can get back into the habit of going at least 5 days a week. I actually am looking forward to going again tomorrow!

According to my bodymedia armband, I burned 400 calories in that 35 minutes, which for me is a good burn! Hopefully tomorrow will be even better :D
 
You know, I find that exercising can really give a boost of energy and improve the mood. I just wish I could get the guts to go back!

Congrats on coming back, and I hope you achieve your goals :)!
 
Thanks loch. If I can reach my goal of 155 within a year, I'd be so happy!

Last week: 195.3
This week: 193.3

-2 lbs
Total- 6.3

Not bad for 3 weeks. I'm only pushing to lose 1.5 a week, so far its averaging 2.1
 
You already lost over 100 pounds, and that by itself is a great accomplishment. You already proved that if you really want, you can lose as much weight as possible, so that is why I am sure that it is only a matter of time before you reach your goal weight.

Oh my lord, Congrats!!:):)That is freaking incredible. Im astonished. Well done on starting back again, and coming back here!!:):) You only gained 20 pounds back after losing over 100 pounds, that is NOTHING.

im so proud of you!!:) You will definitely reach your goal wait. I will be rooting for you all the way!:)
