The Vienna Project

Hi everybody!


I am Kiran (-cilla is a spanish diminutive I like a lot); I am a 24 years old girl who lives in Feldkirch, Austria. I am 1,63m tall and actually weigh about 200lb.

I am austrian, but like to write in this forum to practise my english.

My overweight story begins in 2003: I had always been quite slim until I got 18, spent a summer in London and worked in McDonald's... and also began to eat there. I returned from that summer with 20lb more, and since then I haven't done more than gain and gain more weight...

I have to tell you also that I suffer from a bipolar affection with psychotic attacks and I am taking pills (Olanzapine) that have an effect on blood sugar and favour ravenous appetite. I live in a very big house for psychically affected people, here we are 16, each one in their own big room with bathroom and shower. We have lunch together every day, it is prepared by a chef from outwards with the help of one of the inhabitants, following the cooking plan. Everyone prepares his own breakfast and dinner. We pay 160€ every month for the lunch and to always have the refrigerator well-filled.

So for lunch I have to eat what they make, which uses to be meat and some carbohydrates. I try to eat a normal to small portion. The rest of the day I compensate with fruit, salads and some yoghurts. I try to make five takes, breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks.

And now, why do I call it "The Vienna Project":

On 20th september 2010 I want to go to Vienna to study Translation (Spanish and English to German). Now I'm saving money for that (I'll need about 2000€), this is the first part of the "Vienna Project".

And for making my happiness complete, I want to go to Vienna with a slim, attractive body!


There is still some time left up to then, and in this time I want to lose as much as I can. A dream would be 125lb.

I will enter every evening to report my day.

My method is very easy calorie counting. Eating right and moving a bit more. I try to do something sporty every day. I go to the gym or have walks (I have routes of 40min., one and a half hour and two hours).

Today was good... I had cereal, vegetable soup, four tangerines, an apple and a tuna salad. And I went for a little walk of 40 minutes.
 
Saturday 2nd of january: Also good. I had cereal, chicken with vegetables, two tangerines and two apples. But: no exercise today...
 
Today was okay. I had chocolate cereal for breakfast, veggie nuggets for lunch (I love them!), an apple, a yoghurt and two tangerines, and an omelette for dinner. But I didn't find time to exercise :(

Let's see what tomorrow will bring.
 
5th january: Today was not so good. I ate too much... :( three of the creamy yoghurts and bread with cheese. And I didn't exercise.

Let's hope I will do better tomorrow...
 
Wednesday 6th january: Today was okay. I had cereal, a yoghurt, an apple, chicken wings, two tangerines and a tuna salad.
