The times are changing: S3tsuna's diary

Take that Party of fattening! I didn't gain anything from that at all. Wooo! Also random, I woke up and -gasp- my parents bought a new car. Just out of the blue, no talks about wanting a new one or anything. :eek:

So breakfast today was at... *cough* 3pm... yeah yeah I know what your thinking... " Get up at the regular time like normal people!"

Seriously I try! :p
I'm going to go for a run in a few and that will be 45 minutes of working out. Oh and I decided that I want to put up a few goals/guidline things in my next post so that when I come here I can read them and be all. " oh yeah..."

Supper report:
1 cup of chicken noodle soup
1 pc of toast
1 1-shot V8 juice ( cute little can of V8 worth 1 shot of veggie servings hence the title)

Alright so today's calories are lacking but its already after 9pm and I'm not hungry. If later on I start to get that binge feeling, I'm already equipped with a bag of baked chips that are low-fat and for 20 chips its only 90cal. Which is alright, because tonight I probably wont even eat 20g of it anyway. :p

Exercise:

¬warm-up stretches
¬25 crunches
¬25 sit-ups
¬1/2 hour powerwalk
¬25 crunches
¬25 sit-ups
¬cool-down stretches

Did pretty good today I think, taking into mind that I woke up inhumanely late.


Soooo... Time for some goals/guidelines! (woOt!)

- Get at least the recommended 8 hours of sleep, no matter what.
- Drink at least 60 OZ of water a day
- Eat the minimum of veggie servings a day at least. ( V8's so count!)
- Try to get one serving of fruit a day somewhere.
- When a craving hits, drink water and wait 20 minutes.
- If all else fails, eat some Special K w/ 1/2 cup of so good.
- Do at least 30 minutes of exercises a day.
- Switch up the exercies every-other day ( running one day, biking the next, or swimming... et cetera)
- ALWAYS stretch before and after exercises
- Write in weightloss diary and be ready to spread some motivation! :)


Today was a good day and I hope it was good for everyone else too!

Hold on, I forgot to mention my pride at this.

ok, so that bag of baked chips or whatever I have? Yeah if you eat the whole bag... we're talking, i don't know... about 400+ cals. I've eaten them before when I wasn't all serious about losing weight and I could devour the entire bag. ew, right?

Anyway... my point is, that I bought this bag about a week ago and its been sitting right here. In front of me, since I bought it. and not once, Not even once, did I have an urge to eat them even though I'm not really hungry.

How's that for gaining some resistance? ;)
 
Resist the urge. If it returns, bannish it with a nice walk or go to the fridge and munch on some celery. If the urge does work its way into your mouth, do not feel guilty. Just get back on the wagon and do not look back. You can do it. I know that you can just by the weight that you have already lost. You are determined. Good for you. :D
 
I got to say I am impressed with your exercise routine. You also seem to be doing a good job rolling with the punches and ducking the rest of them. I would advise sleeping those 8 hours at the same time you would if you had to go to school. Not only will you already be asleep when the midnight munchies hit, but you will also be much better prepared for your school sleep schedule. This will help you carry an established exercise routine into the start of the school year.
 
Thanks for the comments guys, and yes Napoleon... sounds like a good idea. It will probably take me a good week to get back into school-sleep schedule, but worth it in the end. ;)

Celery is good, sadly I don't think we have any. Anyway, no munchies tonight. So I'm off to bed soon.
 
Alright, so i'm up late again today, but weeee! Good day so far. I'm going out biking and then swimming with friends, so that will be a blast! :)

Breakfast today: ( is sort of weird, because I'm just trying to eat something quick before going)

1 banana
1 Veggie shot of V8 juice.

° Great, so my goals are already going pretty well. Today is the alternative day so instead of just running on the treadmill, I am going to the beach. Fun exercise. Weeee!

Hey Thanks M2M!

Well the beach idea doesn't seem to be going on anymore or something, but I managed to work something out anyway.

first, I fixed my bike... which proves that chicks are not as handy as guys. I think I fixed it by chance :p
Anyway, So I went out biking for 45min. which was great and after awhile I shall do my stretches and such so thats working well with my new goals.

Supper:

1 6inch veggie sub on whole wheat
1 cup of broccoli and cheese soup
4 crackers

water so far today is around 40 OZ, Still got a bit to go
Oh and in a bit I'm going to have another V8.


I doubt I'll get hungry later, but if the tricks don't work, I'll have some special K, because I'm way below my daily calorie intake.
 
Great goals. Very smart. Very healthy. And totally achievable. But girl, you need more fruit than just one a day!!!

And good job on resisting the chips. Sometimes they just lose their allure, don't they?

Oh I know! I love fruit, but we don't have any other than bananas! I will definetly add them to the list for tuesday's shopping. hah, well I woke up really late again today. So breakfast was technically about an hour before supper so I will assume it is supper.

Breakfastishsupperthing:

Scambled eggs
5 small pc. of bacon
2 hasbrowns

1 V8 juice

and right now I'm drinking about 2 cups of soy milk!

I think I'll go biking very soon, or opt for a run on the treadmill which ever seems more pleasant when the time comes. Ahhh... tomorrow morning is weigh in. eep... >.>
 
So I had to babysit tonight for an hour and a half, so I biked there and back ( approx. 20 minutes in total) and ran around with the kids for at least 30mins. So thats a good amount of exercise for today.


Then because I missed a proper supper and I was a tad hungry I made myself a smoothie with frozen strawberries and blueberries and a banana. So thats pretty good as well.

In other news my mom got on me again to get a job and really started to sound like my dad so we fought. Now I'm mad, and really determined to lose this weight.

because exercising by biking and swimming gets me away from the house, and as the summer nears to the end I'll start applying at places so that the employers don't judge on my weight so much. I also have some good reasons for the weightloss but also some bad ones, but whatever it takes I suppose.

Tomorrow I'm getting up early and going running, then I'll print off some resumes and put some out just to make them shut up for a bit. Thank God they're moving next june, then I can pretend we never met.

Ah up way early today to do my weigh-in and eat breakfast.

So I stepped on the scale and... WEEEEEEEEEEE! Down another two pounds! Looks like I'm doing alright.^^

Breakfast:

1 bowl os Special K w/ half a cup of milk
2 pc of toast w/ cheezewhiz
1 small oatmeal & raisin cookie my dad brought me


Sort of a big breakfast this morning, but not too bad.^^
 
Supper:

1 hamburger
about half a potato
1 V8
2 pickles

wow... that really filled me up... I remember when I could eat two hamurgers and one potato... actually that wasn't that long ago really... :eek:

I am going to go for a powerwalk on the treadmill after while, once it cools down a bit in the basement. ^^
 
Ah today.... so nice out.

I woke up really early today, around 5:30 or so, and I figured I'd get a start on the day right away. I went for a 1/2 bike ride on the trail along the lake. Its been so hot lately but because of last nights thunderstorm it cooled off quite nicely. So it was so cool and refreshing today. I just loved it. Its stuff like that, that make me stay motivated ( that and the nice people on here ;) )

breakfast:

1 bowl of strawberries & blueberries
1 pc of toast
1 cup of green tea.

Mmmmm the berries are delicious! and the tea... My favourite.
Today is a good day, so now I can go about my day as usual and then this evening either go for a walk on the tread or finish the day off with another bike around the lake just before the sun sets.

1 hamburger w/ onions, ketchup and mustard.


Then I napped after that. ;)
Its starting to get really hot again....
