Hi everyone! My name is Kayla. Hehe... I'm new here, with a goal lol I've always wanted to get back in shape and keep a journal about my weight loss. My parents don't seem to really care about me and my weight, considering that their fat lol, but anyway I'm hoping that you guys will support me and keep me motivated.
First of all, I'll tell you a little about my childhood. Growing up, I was never really a fat child or skinny. I was very athletic . From the ages 7-14 (in Middle School) I played soccer, T-ball, C-ball, baseball, softball, volleyball, and loved to swim eveyday in the summer. During those ages I was never concerned with my weight, until in Noverber-ish 2008, when I was 14.
During the summer of 2008, I spained my ankle then ending up breaking it playing basketball with some of my friends, was put in a cast for almost 2 months, was lazy, couldn't play any sports, or anything. My weight shot up to 160-165ish. Yes, i know...yuch!!! So, i decided to to what was best for me.
In August, I cut out most of my junk food, started eating smaller portions, but I ate whatever I wanted (mostly healthy food). I went from 165lbs to 140lbs in about 5 months, which is good. For the past month or longer, I haven't lost any weight at all. My weight keeps fluctuating between 139-142 and its driving my crazy!!! Rawr!!!
Currently I'm 15 years old, a freshman in high school, 5'5", and weighed in at 139.4this morning. I just wish that I would see it move sometime soon!! As of right now, I know my plan that I used before isn't working anymore waaaahhh!! I would appreciate it if anyone could help me on how many calories I should be consuming in a day, exercise, etc...basically anything lol
Exercise wise, ummm I run mostly every night for 20-30mins, I have a weight bench, but I hardly use it lol, and everyother day I have gym class for an hour and 30mins doing various things.
Ohh btw my goal is to be 120-125lbs by at least July/August. Right before I go to the beach with my friends!!!
