Back to the beginning again. Hopefully I can do better this week.

Today didn't start off good at all food wise. Instead of eating breakfast like I planned, I ended up falling asleep after Greene left for work. When I woke up, the bank was opening so I did my running. Ash wanted breakfast, so I stopped at BK for her. I was planning to be good and wait until I got home to eat, but I ended up having one french toast stick w/syrup and her hashbrowns. Ok, so lunch and supper is planning to be better. As for a snack, I had a protein bar. I believe lunch is going to be tuna and something else, probably a tortillia and cheese stick.

ARGH! I need to learn willpower.
 
Lunch was tuna on tortilla, cheese stick, cottage cheese. Supper was turkey smoked sausage with pepper/onions. and mac n cheese. I tried to measure it out, so the mac n cheese was close to 1/2 cup. So I did good, but caved with cake and ice cream. :( Told you I need willpower.

Tomorrow I'm going on a field trip with Ash, so snack lunch time. Planning on bologna sandwich on wheat bread with applesauce, peaches and fruit juice. I was thinking about bag o chips, but figured I would try to be healthy.
 
Ash and I are eating breakfast, so don't have long before needing to jump in the shower and get ready to leave.

For lunch I packed Ash bologna sandwich, fruit snack, corn chips, juice drink. I packed for me ham sandwich (less calories in one slice), applesauce, peaches (in heavy syrup...:confused:) and juice drink.

Not going to be able to eat a snack, so we ate a pretty good breakfast, I hope. She had bowl o cereal, one slice cinammon toast, milk to drink. I had oatmeal, 2 glasses of milk, one slice cinammon toast.

As for the peaches, I've heard the heavy syrup is bad for you, but other than fresh fruit slices, whatelse are you spose to do?
 
Willpower

OMG....willpower....I totally need a good dose of that. man. I can't seem to say no lately. BUTT I am going to the store bc I have a new play group starting at my house tomorrow and need snacks for the kids. So while I'm there, I will get my snickers protein bars (again) and perhaps some other things....my cheese sticks, and perhaps some fruit....but I spent waaaaay too much last week to be needing food already.

Your weekend sounded better than mine! lol glad u had fun though. Keep on keeping on!
 
Hang in there, it is difficult sometimes to find what you want. I usually buy fruit in juice instead of heavy syrup when I buy canned fruit. We all need a dose of willpower. Right now my saving grace is that I am super busy and don't have time to snack, but when I have free time I still get those cravings.

The field trip went well. I did fudge at lunch and ate the rest of Ash's corn chips, but that was probably 1/3 of the bag. I figure all the walking I did today, I probably worked them off.

Went walked thru a Nature Center, Indian Museum, and a Nature Walk to learn about bugs. Ash did well since she doesn't like bugs to begin with. After that, the kids went to a park and ate lunch and played on the playground.

I'm so tired, it's not funny. I need to do the dishes and make supper. I'm thinking chicken and something, but still not sure what.
 
I made grilled chicken with chicken rice..little over kill but good. I went little overboard with supper.

Breakfast was good, but had chicken again for lunch. Ash wanted KFC, so that was bad. I had the buffet and she had a kids meal.

Don't know what to make for supper, thinking porkchops.
 
Supper went better food wise. Porkchops and vegetables. Only one porkchop, which was better than last night's supper.

Tomorrow is Friday..yea!!
 
Today was a good day. Greene found a energy bar he didn't like, so I tried it. It was a lemon flavor. I like lemon, but that was more I can take. Lunch was good. I only had a taco salad. I was good and stayed away from the ice cream, but it was calling my name. Supper was beans/weenies and mac/cheese. I haven't ate yet, so not sure what I'm going to have.

Spend 2 hrs at the neighbors trying to get his internet figured out. By the time left, I needed valium...:eek: :D Thank goodness that's over. I hope I don't have to do that again.

Planning to build a fire, so I'll write later.
 
We sat around the fire for about an hr or so. Came in and watched a movie and went to bed.

Food could have been better. We'll see how today goes. We're going to a antique tractor show today, so hopefully I can eat before we go, so I won't be hungry there.
 
The antique tractor show was so cool. I enjoyed all the different tractors and what not. We did have lunch at home, but the food choices could have been better. All in all, we had a good time.
 
Tonight for supper, I'm gonna make potato chips and sloppy joes. I need to get back to everything again, so I thought this would be good instead of the pre-bought stuff. I know it's not probably the greatest thing to have, but at least I know what's in and I don't have to guess.

We've has made fries in the deep-fryer before, but have never made the chips.
 
Well the sloppy joes came out good but I didn't cook the potatos long enough. They ended up turning out like fried potatos..:( I liked them, but it's not what I wanted.

I'll defintely keep the reciepes and try them again later.
 
I'm gonna try to do better today. I had a protein bar for breakfast because I had some running to do this morning. I'm not sure about lunch yet, but I'm sure I can find something.

Remember 9/11 and don't forget the people who lost their lives. They are the true hero's. May god bless you and keep you.

*Edit: My goal for the week is not to eat out everyday for lunch.*
