The Road to Change...

Thanks T2, yeah, it does make sense now that I think about and yeah I definitely won't be making a habit out of it. Hehe. I can't wait to be in the 270s now, just a few more to go!

Something kinda funny... In 2004 I joined Curves only for 2 months. I went from 276 to 270. Just 6lbs, anyway, my body fat and my total inches are lower now than when I was at that weight! So technically I'm thinner, even though I weigh more. It's so strange, I don't really know how its possible.

The body is just so weird, I'm fascinated by it.
 
Muscle weighs more than fat. You've probably got more muscle now than you did then. Congrats on the 5lb!! Wooooohoo!! :D:D

I went off my diet as well until the day after Xmas and I am back on it

Glad you're back on the horse! Congrats on the 5 lbs! You're doing awesome! And yes... muscle weighs more than fat... gotta keep reminding myself that because I do pushups like they're going out of style. and I just picked up some weights... so I think that's a contributing factor! Congrats again!
 
Also remember that when you do more exercise often your body realizes it needs more water and retains a bit more :)

You can only really put on 1lb muscle a week
 
Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for the support and encouragement. I have to say that I'm not really a diary type of person which is why I don't post much. lol. I will definitely start posting more in this New Year.

My New Years Resolutions

1. Exercise 6 days a week.
2. Drink plenty of water.
3. Not being scared to eat enough calories
4. Start loving my body more.
5. Get down to my first goal weight by the end of of March or April
6. Get down to 185.7 by the end of December (By losing 8lbs a month til then)
7. Start taking pride in appearance
8. Meditate and perhaps get into Yoga
9. Work on my deeper issues. I hate to say it but I think I'm becoming a bitter person. I'm anger prone, I get pissed off at people, strangers sometimes, when I shouldn't. It's just a lot of pent up anger from over the years that needs to be released, but I feel terrible about it. I like the nice side of myself much better.
10. Repair relationships.
11. Get the nerve to post pictures of my progress.

Great Resolutions Change! THis is the year of change for me. Changing countries, changing my dietary lifestyle, changing jobs, everything! And I've already started the process! This is the year of @$$ kicking! And you're off to a GREAT start! Congrats!
