Amanda, those videos were fucking awesome!!! I especially love the running from cops vids, though that might get a little tricky here in the US. I'm pretty sure most of our cops would rather see us become one with the pavement before seeing us get away after toying with them like that. We’re funny about that in the US. We don’t care much about the shit that matters but we will put you in jail or see you killed for the stuff that elicits emotional responses. Go figure? Sorry fellow citizens, but it’s true.
I have a bit of good news, btw. I finally think I'm seeing some improvement from my injury! I can sit for longer periods without feeling severe pain, and I can sleep for a larger percentage of the night on my back without waking up in agony. Hey, any step in the right direction is enough to make me happy for the moment.
I think I've been going about this all wrong. I've been afraid to do anything physical for fear of exacerbating my injury, but I think physical activity is actually helping. I haven't been exercising at all, but this weekend I spent like 8-10 hours between Sat and Sun doing very physical yard work to include lots and lots of bending over to pull weeks or pick stuff up, and voila! My back, neck and head feel better. Maybe what I really need is some more physical activity rather than sitting on my ass (I don’t mean lifting, but biking and jogging and what not).
I expect to wake up tomorrow morning (weigh-in day) with minimal weight loss, if any. I haven’t been counting my cals and I’ve made a few poor decisions… though nothing like downing a whole pizza or eating a tub of ice-cream or anything. No worries, I expect this upcoming week will be a lot better. I plan on doing some cardio every day this week as my back allows. I also plan on catching up with all my WLF friends to see what I’ve been missing. Here’s hoping that you’ve all been kicking some serious ass!
