Good news fellas. My wife didnt need a crown. So $25 instead of $400. Horay.

Bad news. My should was hurting so badly last night I couldn't sleep. It was horrible! Like a deep burning. SO BAD!

Yeah, no way I am missing my race.

Did you guys ever hear about Ronnie Lott...it was the playoffs and he broke him finger. He would have been out for the season with it, so had the finger amputated.
 
Hmm... not sure I could go that far... losing a finger. But I admire his drive!

I heard about that.... thinkin' of removing a shoulder? Just to let you know, your shoulders come in pretty handy when swimming. That triathlon of the future might get a bit harder without that vital body part. :D

hmmmm, removing ribs should only be done if you're marilyn manson (yes I am aware it's just a myth, I'm just sayin' is all)...

Now if you were scheduled for some sort of marathon I would just recommend a whole roll of duct tape. Although the duct tape removal might be tricky :D

5k is done. Horrible time, but I got 2nd in my age division. I went home, and had terrible chills. I just figured it was a part of recovery. Anyway, I take my temp and its 103.5. Could be the reason I had such a brutal time. My shoulder is better. My back was the problem on Saturday. I stayed at my folks place on a hide-a-bed. I was planning on staying an additional night, but I thought that it would be good for my back to sleep on my bed, so i drove home and thankfully it did help a ton, and I was able to run. Yeah, I am pretty much hooked. It was a lot of fun.
 
Wow - 2nd in you age group is fantastic. Especially since you weren't quite 100%. Great job Tri. & hope you're feeling better!
 
Awesome! Well done friend. 2nd in your age category? Sick as you were and you still kicked some ass. Imagine what a healthy FGT could do!
