The Last Fifteen

THANKS!!!

Couldn't help but weigh myself today to see if the 130's is here to stay or if it was just a fleeting image. 139.0 this morning. Woot! Doing everything in my power to maintain this lovely weight! I'm very happy.

My clothes are starting to really fit looser. My size 8/6/medium things are getting pretty loose. Planning to lose another 9 pounds and then go shopping as a reward for myself.

I'm finally over that TERRIBLE hump! things go up from here!! :) Gonna stay on a roll.
 
In giving up my sugar addiction I can confirm that natural, unsalted almonds are sweet :) My palette is changing!
 
138.6 today. Back at my lowest weight ever as an adult. I'm still motivated to keep going! If not, even more so now because every pound I lose from here on out is new ground to me lol. Exciting! I really want to lose another 3 pounds this week in time for the cardio screen at work. It's a very ambitious goal but I'm determined to at least try.

This past weekend, eating was amazing. I ate relatively healthy and didn't over-eat at all. This weekend coming (long weekend) is a big one! Lots of plans and things to look good for. Motivation much.
 
Only 8.8 pounds to go until I'm in the 120's. Wow. I'm going to change things up starting today because what may have worked for the first 20 pounds may not work for the last few. So my ideas are as follows:
- Be more strict with avoiding added sugars and wheat gluten
- Workout daily - even if it's just an hour walk
- Kitchen closed after 7pm
- No buying food - prepare own meals!!! For lunch this week I want to go back to quinoa and salmon. It's tried and true and easy. I'm going to switch to baking the salmon now instead of frying it. As for snacks -- sticking to almonds and smoothies.
 
Bring more strict was BIG FAIL. it backfired and I'm now up to 143.6 -- five pounds gained in a week. Wow. I'm so disappointed. I won't give up though. Just gonna stay consistent this week because I'm still determined.
 
139.4 today. Glad to be in the 130's but been here so many times then back out that it's not exciting anymore LOL. Today I'm just going to focus on maintaining this weight and not pushing myself too hard. Just 10 more pounds to go...
 
Stop weighing everyday.... it will just piss you off more.
don't think about what the scale says and concentrate on your workouts and diet.
The only weigh in about every 2 weeks. 1 week at the most.

Okay so good news - 138 lbs. I will try not to weigh in as frequently. Tonight going to do some grocery shopping. I want to get back into eating salads and drinking smoothies more.
 
Oh and yesterday I walked/ran for 37 minutes. It was great :) I didn't feel overly tired although I did sweat a lot. Def going to try and do these runs 3 times per week.
