The Journey of a one legged fat guy

Hey, bro. The sporadic workouts might not be the best, but still getting it done is keeping your body in check. Something is better then nothing.

How'd you manage for the big July 4 party, Matt? Hopefully you didn't do too much damage hehe... hope you had a good one.

All I can say is "OH CRAP!" Im fixing it now.

Hey There!! You're on my friends list now, look out! hehe

Bring it on Baby! ;)

UPDATE:
Well, Im fixing myself from this weekend. Still trying to get down to 180 by the 23rd. We will see. Otherwise life is very stressful right now. Talked to my boss and now Im being told I wont be rehired until the end of the month. That and medical crap are really distracting me from my goal. Its also time to get my leg retrofited again.

Keep my in you thoughts guys. I need the support right now.

July 10th

Okay, I just got a huge motivator to really get going again on my weight lose. Ive been very slack since my bet ended. Well, I just got news that my medical insurance is changing back to the good one I had before. That means that I will be able to go and get a new prosthetic leg. Which you all know that I need desperately. Ive already had the present one worked on to get me by as I lose weight. So my goal is to be down to 170 by Sept 1st. As a matter of fact I think Im going to create my own challenge for this if anyone is interested in following my progress. You see as I lose weight my stump gets thinner and it makes for a poor fitting leg. So when I get my new leg fitted I need to be with in 10 pounds of my finish weight. The closer the better. Also I am VERY stoked about this new leg. I am planning on getting a state of the art running leg. One that I can really pound the hell out of. For instance today I ran 4 miles in 30 mins 30 secs. I need a light weight high energy storing leg. Not to mention a leg that doesnt hurt after I run. This one does cause it doesnt fit correctly anymore.

Anyway, keep me in your thoughts and follow my progress on my challenge page.

Holy shit, dude! 30:30 for 4 miles? Nice! You are the f'n man. Whatever challenge you set for yourself, I'll play along, bud. Name it.

Sure! Why not! You're going to crush me. I've bumped my calories up substantially and my weight loss has come to a crawl (but fat loss hasn't) but since I just started adding running back into the mix... who knows, maybe some extra weight will come off with it.

Holy freakin' cow!!! That is amazing!

So I went back and read the first page, however I am too lazy to dig through all the rest, but I must know...

Who had to wear the pink spandex to work?! Did you or your friend reach 200 first?

You are a true inspiration! I plan on visiting your diary more often! Don't know how I missed it before! :)
