Well i am back, and making a new diary :D I am getting married in a year and need to burn away these pounds. I am just going simple this time no plans and weridness, just a simple walk everyday, and keep track of my eating. I am drinking heaps of water and keeping busy. I am at tafe for three days a week(tafe is like collage) and looking for some work. So i am sure busy. Well for now anyway, till that gets too easy.

I would love to hear from you guys, bout anything. I need all the suppourt i can get :D

So today is the begining of the rest of my life! I have decide to only step onto the scales once a week. Which will be today, Tuesday.

~*This Weeks Goals*~
  • Lose A kilo.
  • To Exercise Daily(Walking, streching and Toning)
  • And to drink 3L of Water A day..
~ Reward ~
I Get a Fun Day At the Beach With my little brother and sister.

*~Plan of Attack~*
I must exercise at 4pm each day, if i havent already!
Make a work out cd, slower tracks to warm up and cool down, and beater tunes for working out.


Week One is a success. I didnt exercise everyday, but most of them.
 
Thanks, it was a trick i learnt out of a diet book, but i do it for exercise, plus i sneak in more exercise that way. :D
 
Gotta Get A Job

So there are a couple of things i wanna yap bout... sorry :D firstly i am apply for work at the moment mostly fast food places, i need them to be flexie in my hours as i have to study and attended classes. Any advice bout NOT eating at work? lol macca'a will be okay they have heathy choices now, but pizza places and KFC? I have nooooo will power.

The other thing is rainy day workouts, i dont really like just using the bike, i am getting a little bored with it now. Any ideas of fun ways to work out inside?

Thought I'd stop in and say hi. Congrats on your wedding!

I love listening to music while getting in my cardio. I think sometimes its the only thing that keeps me going. I think Creative Media Source or Yahoo's version of iTunes (forgot the name of the program) will automatically setup play lists for you based on the tempo you desire. I think there's even a workout one...

I've never used it, but I remember seeing it as an option on some music program I was fiddling with.

I'd give the yahoo one a try... Oh! Music Match! Thats what its called. I think thats the one that had the option... or was it the creative one? I don't know!

Food Diary

i have decide to keep track of what i eat during the next week, see where those sneaky calories are coming into my diet. I know i drink way too much fizzy drinks. Too many calories there, i am swapping to water and diet coke. I like a bit of juice but i think i will have to give it up for a while, a piece of fruit will be better, fiber and vitiams.... My portion are a little mental too, i have been told by many a friends that to eat on a smaller plate, so i am going to try that too. Hmmm any other food tips?
 
There's an article floating around the forums that is about soda: diet vs. regular. It actually shows (according to this study) that people who are drinking the diet soda are considerably more likely to be obese. Now, who's to say that its not people trying to turn their lives around? Though, I think that was addressed in the article...

Anyhow, I'd really recommend that you kick all fizzies that even pretend to be sweet. If you're hooked on carbonation like I am, drink Perrier flavored water or any other fizzy that doesn't have any sweetener in it. There's something wrong with how a lot of fake sweeteners interact within our bodies and researchers just haven't been able to put their thumb on it. There is, however, a lot of research out there that links people being obese with fake sweeteners.

Also, high fructose corn syrup. Be a label reader and choose not to buy foods that have that in it. The way high fructose corn syrup works is scary. There's lots of info out there on HFCS too, so I won't drone on about it here.

You might also look up some of your favorite foods at and scroll down to the bottom and read about them. There's tons of info on foods and whats really in them.

Ekkk Really? I am cutting the fizzy then, dont want to grow another head, lmao. Guess what happened? My overweight parnter has decided i must be onto something so he is enrolling in my health kick, and half of his work mates, RAOFL. He works at macca's, so i am wondering how long he will keep away from the cookies sundays they have there. :D i am going to try and get him to set up and account here, i think he would learn heaps! I have, got a BMR and rainy day exercises...... Awww loves you guys... :D Crazy person leaveing now. Oh i have changed my way in day! Sunday it is now, havent got time on tuesdays.

Tuesday Doom

I got on the scales last nite, i had gain a kg, thou i am not going to count it as it was late and i had just had dinner. I have a treadmill now, just spent the last ten minutes on it. Didnt do too well, but i am exerciseing! I plan to do ten more tonight.

The food dairy is going great, i am keeping track of everything, which in turn is helping me eat right. I dont want to write down i just ate half a cake :p well off to tafe i am.

Weight Wars!

Well my parnter and i are doing this weight lost thing together! He is going to lose it quicker, one cause he has way more self control than i, and he is bigger and male. Lol. Life is soo unfair! haha.

We got a new scale that tells us how much we way to the 100g! lol and how much % is body fat.... i am 52% flubber people! sigh. Oh we also got a treadmill. It is a cheapie loaded one but it will do for a while until we can afford an upgrade... Oh speaking of that. I was working out on wesenday, and i started feeling sick, and ended up in the bathroom.... Is that normal? or am i pushing too hard, too soon?
 
Doom, Doom....

I way in tomorrow. Nervous, lol. I know my parnter has lost bout 3kg, i dont know if i have lost any. I know different people lose weight at different rates, i just hope i have lost a little, dont want to get dishearten.

I have been doing 20 minutes on my treadmill each day, for the last three days. I have been keeping a keen eye on what i have been eating too. I have relized that i spot eat, meaning i pick at food. For next week i have set up a menu, so i know what i am eating and when.

This week has been great. I have had the suppourt of my partner and been doing great! Gone is 1.9kg!!!! Omg soo happy, i havent stuck to a weight loss plan before! :D

*~Plan of Attack~*I am to get up bout 630am on days i am at tafe. I will do my treadmilling then cause i seem to be too worn out to do anything once i get home. I also have a menu that will start the next pay day. It is going to be super tasty...mmmmmm, and healthy!


Great week! i just need to watch my bored eating again, go for a walk or work on my webbsite if i get the eating feelings.. Only eat when i am really hungry.

My sister is having her baby boy tomorrow. She is being enduced! sooo excited. I know this is not weight related but hey! it is great news!

Gone Insane

Okay this maybe only me, but since i have been eating lots of healthy stuff, my fridge is crazy full and i cant find anything... I have all the good stuff in there, fruit vegies, yoghurt... sliced meats and lots more yummo stuff... any hints on how to get it more orgainsed?

OMG i saw a video of me at a friends wedding and my parnters 21st OMG.... I am set back into this weight loss thing... i looked like a beached sea cow... ekk. I am going to get a still and put it on my fridge... and on the workout room wall remind me of what i want to change...

Oh heres a question, goals.... small or large or both? I have set a small one, a kg a week, a mid one... 10 kg in 2 month and my main goal 35 by the end of 6 months... too much or too little?

Thanks for chirping in on my diary, you reminded me not to let anyone or myself get in the way of reaching my goal and becoming healthier.. I thank you for that ..every time I come here I will read that in my diary and it will revamp me for a bike ride or walk ..thank you so much!

what is your height? and what is your goal in the end?
I am 5'6 and am hoping to reach 155-165...
right now my first goal by next summer or close to it is 250 pounds. I really want to reach that goal ...and with support from people like you .. I know I will

Mmmmm foodies

I have decide to post what i eat as well. Today so far i have had, a plain english muffin - no butter, a bit of a berry nice crunch from macca and a pancake... lunch was a salad with sundried tomatoes(2) a few bits of feta and a salad and pork wrap.

Hi Mickey, I saw the name and thought I would drop in. My name is Mickey also, though I am a male. I always thought Mickey was a nice girls name. Anyway, great job so far. I like your approach. Just do what's right. Some exercise, drink water and eat right. Good luck, the year will fly by and you'll look great for the wedding. I don't know if yoga is big in Austriala, but if there is a place, you should give it a try. Very strenuous AND relaxing.
