Bread is alright for sandwiches as long as it's 100% whole wheat bread. Just don't eat it at night. Some of these guys are so carb contious that they don't eat any. But if your weight training, and trying to build muscle you need carbs. Just in the right moderation, and at the right time of day, meaning earlier in your day. Personally, I eat most of my carbs for breakfast and lunch, and my dinner has as few carbs as I can handle. Basically, eat the bread if you want, but wien yourself off it, as the day goes on. If you go to sleep with it in your system, it will turn to sugar, which turns to fat.
