Thanks for stopping in. Little Owen is precious and has cute chubby baby legs. He keeps me up all night but I forgive him lol

cate
Thanks, I might take a look at it. I looked at fitday but didn't like the layout. I love charts and things but when it gets too much effort my laziness sets in :-O
Yes, I think I need to display some bottles round The house to remind me to drink them.
Like at work, I always have a huge bottle on my desk otherwise I forget to get up and get some from the machine.

brawny
Thanks, yep by by obese :D

moses and Sarah
Thanks. I just said to cate above also, I love charts and things but if it becomes to much effort my laziness sets in but I'm going to check it out.

It's a catchy tune. A the moment I have kids songs stuck in my head all day so it's great when I come here and get this one stick in my head.
At the moment I'm singing to myself "Finley the fire engine, that's the sound the sound of his engine"..... Lol

It goes down, without a single doubt!

I've read you're in Bretagne, what's good about france is that there's place that do not look like france at all, on one of my longest circuit the ground and the flora suddently change to look like italy !

And Bretagne isn't an exception, it doesn't look like France at all.

I've been thinking of chocolate cake all day and deserve a treat but there is no where to get a nice one close by, this is bad but a good thing lol

@ Benny
Yep Bretange definitely doesn't feel like France. I'm a city girl at heart though so would prefer to be in a bigger city here. Where we are is just so dead and I'm getting bored :( if I was in quimper which is a 30 min drive from here I would be happier I think.
When I'm here is when I really regret not changing my drivers licence over before it expired in nz. If I want one now I have to go through the whole Hoo ha in France to get it and I don't particularly want to drive in Paris *scary*

@ angel.
Thanks. These first ones are dropping so fast without much effort so I'm hoping the last 10 will go well once I am able to start sports again.
I'm looking forward to a small bit of shopping when I he back, so e nice jeans or something to last me till I can fit my old ones.
The only things I have are the same things I wore during pregnancy so I need some better things.

Hey...I heard there was supposed to be some chocolate cake in here....but I don't see any! What's up with that? Lol

Have fun shopping...I love the clothes rewards! Keep up the good work and continue to make those great choices!
Sarah

83.3 this morning and my steps yesterday were awesome. Finally over the 10,000 but today was not so
14/02 = 11420
15/02 = 5841

@ brawny,
I know! Bad isn't it lol.
No cake but I did snack on some of my mum in laws cooking chocolate :-O

@ Sarah.
Thanks. Can't wait to go shopping. We get back to Paris end of August.

Should 14/02 and 15/02 read 14/08 and 15/08 or is that some kind of format I'm not familiar with? Either way nice stepping!

Geeze, what's with me?
That's the second time I've done that.
I keep writing August as feb :jump: I really do not know how I keep making that error.

Edit:: just checked my notes and I had it there as 02 as well... I updated that.
Mental note to self "August is the 8th month of the year"

Well august was originally the sixth month so that's closer. That's why December is the 12th month despite "Dece" meaning 10. August was originally called Sextilis before being renamed in honor of Augustus Cessar.

Quercus - noun 1. Genus of oak tree. 2. A tome of useless information.

Good job on the steps! I always feel better when I've hit the 10000 steps mark on the fitbit! I envy your plan for shopping in Paris...2 places I always hit...Galleries Lafayette and the flea markets at clingnant court...strange combo I know, but I always seem to find something interesting in both places when I go! It will probably be awhile before I go through Paris though! Enjoy and keep making those great choices!

Its slowing down now.
15/08 = 83.3
16/08 = 82.8
17/08 = 83.7 (crepes last night. 2 sallè 1 sucre)
18/08 = 82.9
19/08 = 83.5

@ Quercus
I love useless I formation. I'm like a kid sometimes. But why, but why....? Is my fav question :D

@ cloudy,
Thx. Yes he's grown about 5 cm and I just can't imagine now that he was in my belly lol.
He's adorable!

@ Sarah
Yep I was happy that day. It's harder here to get the steps in as this place bores me when I walk :-/ when I get to Paris hopefully I will walk more and reach that every day :D
I love the markets. Gallery Lafayette is nice but I've only been there 3 times in the 9 years I have lived here lol. I hate loads of people when shopping and its hard to get there at the quieter times.
With Owen I will have to go shopping closer to home also but there are plenty of good shops I know close by.
I'm looking forward to going to the pousette (push chair) cafe with my friend when I'm back. It's a nice cafe that you can go to with babies, they have changing tables, transats, play area so you don't annoy the other customers with crying babies since everyone there has a baby. Plus it's the only cafe in Paris where you can change a nappie easily.
I love it!

Good job on the steps. Good to hear Owens doing well. Weight loss is coming a long as well. How many Euros have you got in your pot now?

I can't imagine trying to get around Paris with a baby. You really made me think about that. Most rest-rooms are tiny & usually down or up steep stairs! You would have to be an expert on changing nappies in tiny awkward places! What a lovely idea the Pousette is. I think of Paris & sigh. As a tourist you don't really think of the everyday hardships of living in a bustling city, although one of the reasons we moved to Tasmania from Melbourne was to bring our 2 boys up in the country. Thanks again Suz for emailing me. I will start trying to use them when I start losing some weight! xoxo Cate
