My Dearest Diary,
I can't tell you how happy I am to now have you as a friend - someone I can be completely honest to about my shameful/embarrassing weight issues...without fear of judgement or pity or any other human emotions
LOL
In the spirit of honesty, I've got to disclose a couple things to you upfront as we start our friendship:
1. Being that you can't see me, I'll need to let you know upfront that I am fat spelled F-A-T. Not the 'Phat' as in Kimora Lee Simmon's Baby Phat designs nor the Phat as in the ethnic fab, chic, hip...Nope, I am more of a flabs/cheeks/ and hips, and well maybe stomach, and thighs too uhm... FAT. I currently weigh 182 lbs and stand at 5'7.
2. I am planning to lose about 37 lbs - so please try not to act surprise or become a jealous friend when I get there like some friends do when you lose weight.
3. I should probably let you know I plan to do this in about 3 months. It's may put a slight strain on our relationship, and there may be times I just don't feel like talking to you cause I am mad as hell or I may rant and rave at you ...you know how the mood goes when your body is changing.
Ok, maybe you don't but you have been warned I am human and humans sometimes get cranky when they go through changes.
4. I will be closely watching my diet and trying to control my sometimes incessant urge to keep on eating for no sane reasons. I will tell you about it as honestly as I can. Sometimes shame may keep me from telling you all in one go but I promise to tell you all till I purge all the shame out of me - no pun intended.
5. I expect that you and all the good folks on this forum will be my support group as I don't know any other people struggling with weight in my immediate circles.
6. How realistic is this goal?
7. You ask when do we start? - My Dear Diary, don't be silly we have started already -
Yours Truly,
FMF (Formerly Ms Fat)
