Week 5

Monday 4 August
calories = 1400-1500
water = 2litres
excercise = 8 mile/2.5hours walk
waist = 77cm (-0)

Tuesday 5 August
calories = 1300-1400
water = 2litres
excercise = 34mins 40sec - 10miles/16km bike

Wednesday 6 August
calories = 1500-1600
water = 2litres
excercise = 22mins - 7.5miles/12km bike

Thursday 7 August
calories = 1700-1800
water = 2litres
excercise = 31mins 14sec - 10miles/16km bike - quickest 10miles so far!!

today the bike session was good. saying that i have been excercising all week my legs were not bad. yes they hurt for like the first 2 or 3 miles but once i got into a rhythm they were fine and i got my quickest 10miles so far! it feels good.
tomorrow is horse riding so no biking tomorrow but i'll do some on sat and sunday i think. the plan is that we might be visiting grandma in London this weekend which is never a good time or place ot be watching what you eat. she practically forces the food down your throught especially cause she knows what we like and makes sure she makes it before we visit. should be good to see her though. haven't seen her since the eventful wedding in March.

thanx i feel good this week. i feel the workout in the morning (i excercise before bed :)) but by th eafternoon i'm all good again so i keep going. its not been bad calories wise but i have had the worst food choices this week!! like pizza for breakfast this morning!!!!

didn't end up going London today. feel free to come down and eat my share of the food. it would help me ;) will go next weekend i think which is good because i really want to get more biking done this week and also control my food. which seems impossible at the moment.

I just wanted to pop in and say, it's wonderful how your keeping accountable for your food and exercise every day, even if you have not so good days, keeping track of it will help you later, you might have certain patterns your not aware of.

I'm curious, of the calories you post each day are you eating a balanced variety of foods?? Or do you stick to certain items each day?? I'm just curious.

On the inches thing, I'm so there with you!! I mean there were times when I would lose 1 inch around my mid section, but nothing ever moved on the scale and it would TICK ME OFF, but you know what?? I learned it's not about the scale at all, it's about how you feel when you look at yourself in the mirror and with your clothes on. I mean if you have a favorite skirt and you can't wear it because it's a tad bit tight, it won't be the pounds you have lost that get you back in that skirt, it will be the inches you lose that will help you get into that skirt. Because one pound on the scale might come mainly from a certain area, and not always where we want it to come off. LOL LOL So you keep losing those inches girl and let the scale say what it may, because it doesn't really share the truth in my opinion.

HEY!! thanx for visiting! its good to hear from you again. i am a bit OCD on keeping track of things nowadays lol. apart from what i eat lol. i have been keeping track of my weight weekly aswell but not in the diary. i should look for a pattern after a few weeks. might find my secret ingredient to losing weight :biggrinjester:

i doubt i have a balanced diet. like today all i have had to eat is chocolate in pizza! i was in great need! but yeah i nee dto look at getting more protein in especially now i am trying to increase the miles on the bike...my legs need the strength.

i 100% agree with you. there was a time i used to weigh myself everyday. now i weigh myself every week and still the number doesn't mean much to me now. i am going a bit OTT with the tape measure though. i only measure my waist but nearly everyday. i don't measure the rest of my bod. maybe i should just incase i start losing weight elsewhere and i don't realise. might do this monday and then after a month again.

Hey...hope you're all doing well. recently i haven't been on the bike or any other excercise because we are getting windows put in at home and well everything is covered and i'm mostly living in my bedroom. lol. i have been measuring myself though and i've lost another cm! woohoo. a new low and first time my waist is below 30inches. i am made up. just thought i shud update quickly while i have 2 minutes. have a good thursday. ;)

Hi everyone. hope you are all doing well. sorri aynt been around in a while but since the last time i checked in alot has been happening. got building works done...mom and lil bro gon abroad because mom got a job abroad and then started new job so it has been hactic. i have still bin on top of losing my weight and watching my food even though i haven't excercised for 2 months. i get really tired after a days work but i am going to try and fit 20mins of bike every other day or something. anyway good news is that in the last 2 months i have lost 2cms of my waist!!! from 29.9 inch down to 29.1. hopefully i can lose another 2 before christmas.this is how my weight and waist has been playing up for the last 13-14 weeks.

thank u! i missed it but hav been sooo busy! even now i'm not 100% but thort i shud chek in and update. got a flu coming up - not helpful wen u hav to shout at a milllion kids lol. i can't believe how far along you are. congrats!! it seems like the other day u found out u wer preggers. x

Thanx hon. i keep looking at the tape measure an dputting it around myself and think thats how big i was. i dont feel small but wen i do that i get happy lol. i've still got a way to go but it seems achievable now. hope you're doing well. x
