i hope you got your excercise in! i have a home gym because of my confidence...or lack of lol and plus there is no decent gym where i live. hehe. its great having equipment at home...you can use it whenever you want!!

I have my own "gym" here too. We have an elliptical, treadmill, weight bench, and a total trainer (like the total gym.) And then I have videos. :D

Thanks again for your encouragement. You are lucky to have fitness equipment in your home! I have an exercise bike but it being used as a coat hanger right now. I prefer the elliptical and the treadmill. If I had the extra cash I would junk the bike and get the two loves of my life. You do great on listing your exercise. I hope you don't mind but I would like to copy your format on my diary. It looks good the way you have it. Keep on sweating! Till tommorow :waving:

I'm good with ABS of Steel too.
Glad you got in your exercise! I got in 40 min. on the elliptical, it sure does feel better than yesterday.

we're going with as of steel then!! excercise feels great! am going to get a bit in today. got 20mins walk so far...will see about a bit more later.

hey sweety! i love my home gym! its great! get those coats of the elliptical and start using it again! its great to use them while watchin tv or something. its like 'free' excercise!

Well I actually got the day off! School was closed for us. I should get some things done around here. We shall see. :biggrinjester:

So with the challenge are we going to figure out how to break up our exercise min.? I could always add more to my normal 30 min. goal. Anything up to an hour would be fine with me. I usually get in 30 to 40 min. of exercise 5 days a week (on a good week.)

Holy crap. I'm trying so hard right now *not* to be envious. LOL.

I own only a treadmill, CorEvoluton and elliptical as well as quite a few dumbells. They work well enough, yes, but I'd KILL for a Total Trainer or a Bowflex.

Good for you Ang!! That gym will certianly help you achieve your goals quicker!! What's your favorite machine?

treadmill
elliptical
bike
weight bench -simple one like that.
plus other bits and bobs lol!

i think i would have to go with the treadmill or the elliptical as my favs. actually i dunno if i'd be able to give up the bench either lol! hmmm...probably the treadmill is my fav!

You're a girl after my own heart, sweetie!! Treadmillio is my baby. He and I will go any and everywhere together. LOL. I do think though, if I had an exercise bike, I'd ride it quite often. I've always enjoyed biking. I use to do it everyday in the summer back when I was fifty pounds heavier.

I really do enjoy your journal Ang!! It's just plaing *fun* in here.

i would never dream of stealing treadmillio away from you! ;) i love the bike aswell but i just can't stay on it for long...my legs aren't very good unless i have tension on level 1 then i could probably go on forever but not as usefull for my body really is it! i love running...but i don't have the stamina to keep it up for long. i am thinking of following on of theserunning training things online once i finish studying in june. do you still bike?

I wish I did. We don't have an exercise bike in our home, but if we did, I gurantee you I'd be cycling. Right now, my bike is stored between my ice skates and hockey sticks in my storage unit. As soon as spring comes, I gurantee you I'll be breaking that baby out and fix up the tires, seat and be polishing it. It'll be something different from the norm of my tread routine, you know?

Spring and summer are my fav seasons partly because I can exercise outside again. Treadmillio will just have to get over his jealousy issues. LOL.

i can't wait for summer just to put the badminton net back up and play a bit of that. during the summer i can keep pleying for hours a day - you should know we only get about 2 weeks of summery weather in England so i have no chance of getting bored. the rest of the year is the treadmill unfortuantely.

don't worry about treadmillio during the spring/summer - i will take very good care of him ;)

Dh wants to get a bike, but I'm not sure. I'd rather ride a real bike than sit on one that goes nowhere! We have the same simple type of weight bench only ours is older - dh had it when he was a teen.

My favorite "machine" would be the elliptical. I just hate it when my feet go numb though.

That's what I was thinking about a stationary bike, not sure if I'd enjoy it either because I'd rather ride it for real. ;) Why aren't you riding a bike now that you are lighter?
