The beginning

Oi
I feel like i'm always at the beginning, lol. I tend to lose weight and gain it back over a period of time. Like i'm thinking "hey hey, i still look good" and then BAM! size 6 is too small. It stems from the fact that I get lazy and lack motivation really.

Anyway, I am 5'4", size 6-7 *actually I haven't the slightest clue what size I am because some places like American Eagle, I can fit a 4, however places like Express I can barely squeeze into a 6. Either way I'd like to be a comfortable 4.

I used to be 120lbs and a size 4 and quite content with that, considering that in 2007 I was a size 12 and 154lbs, however I moved in with my boyfriend a year ago and we were really poor and honestly we ate whatever was there, and a lot of the time I ate at work (I worked at a coffee house SOOOO we know how that one goes; pastries...)

The last time I weighed myself I was a size 7/8 and around 135lbs. I'm pretty confident that I am no longer 135lbs, but I don't know lol.
We moved a few weeks ago because my boyfriend got a great job. SO great that he bought me a treadmill, and I've been working out everyday. I've also been eating regular small meals with vegetables and grilled chicken, and special K, stuff that I enjoy but couldn't afford. We haven't touched fast food in almost a month. When we moved I threw away my scale because all it did was make me feel bad about myself, and guilty. So I can't say how much I weigh currently, but it doesn't matter because I really just want to feel healthy and good about myself. While, yes I really want to fit into my size 4 pants again, I understand these things take time and so my current goal is just to start losing the fat around my midsection and thighs. I'd also like to tone my arms. I have this 10minute solutions DVD that does a bunch of targeted area workouts and it's SUPER FUN. I do 3 in a row (arms, legs, core) and I run for about 30-45 minutes on the treadmill. This routine has just started so, this is all the beginning for me.

I'm going to post my Before pictures in hopes that within the next couple months I'll be able to see a difference.

don't know when I'll buy a scale though....><

OH! I forgot! I also started riding my bike a lot, I live in a town with a 6 mile bike trail. You might see the tanlines on my back from that.

I also threw in a regular picture of me taken in May, just for a face shot.

So my main problem areas are my hips and tummy, can anyone suggest some good stability ball moves for those areas? I'd love some good advice

Thanks!

I think you look great how you are right now but if you wanna lose a little weight just be healthy and do lots of cardio and lightweight high rep strength training to tone and boost your metabolism. Good luck on your journey!!!!
