The Beginning!

I think I am finally ready to share this with everyone. Definately not proud of where I am but excited to work towards getting closer to where I want to be again only this time going the entire way!

I worked hard and lost 50lbs and then over the last year have put it back on. I quit smoking in dec 06 and in jan 07 was diagnosed with hypothyroid.

I have struggled with my weight for a VERY long time. My husband met me when I was 180lbs and has seen me go up to 250lbs and down to 200lbs and now back up to 250lbs. He loves me regardless but I feel like it's hard to accept all his love when I don't love myself completely because of my weight. I'm ready to let go of that way of thinking!

I "watch" not count my calories/fat/fiber intake and log everything I eat as well as my physical activity. I drink water all day during the week but need to work on it in the evening and on weekends. I again will start using my gym pass and as the weather gets nicer I have loads of opportunities to be outside walking(even while I'm at work).

My goals:
*1st goal is 200lbs and final goal is to reach 160lbs
*I dream of running - I want to run a 5k or 10k this yr. depending on progress.
*Skate at Rockefeller Center while we vacation to NYC in Dec 08!

Looking forward to meeting some great people to share this journey with. Lord knows I need all the support I can get!

Since you have done it before, there should be no doubt that you can do it again, and lose more!!! By the way how tall are you?

To be honest I cropped out my face in the current ones because I had just got done working out and looked like crap. So I figured I'd crop out the other ones too. Future pics I'll include my beautiful face!
