I assumed that you were on of those people that were born with a smile on their face so it has even more merit that you have changed yourself into a happy person. :D

Hahah! Thanks, sweetie! Yeah, it was not easy to change my attitude and outlook on life, but dang it was worth it! It's amazing the difference it makes in all aspects of life.
 
& I agree with that sentiment eyckmans. I feel that I have got to know you too Stacy & I like what I see. You are a lovely person. I'm so glad you and I have gotten to know each other better! I know this week was hard for you and I'm very glad you let me put my two cents in about it. I'm honored that you chose to share some of your life with me. :)

How come you're not writing in your diary? I've only just noticed as I see you about all over the place I didn't notice that you weren't writing in your own.
You've not even celebrated your 2 lb loss :D
ps I have just seen your before picture for the first time. I wouldn't have put you anywhere near 385 lbs from that picture. Is your body quite toned? You are going to have an amazing figure once the weight drops a bit more:D

Hey guys. Sorry it's been so long since I posted. And I know I haven't been keeping up with you guys' diaries. I feel like a fail-friend. But know that I love you guys and if/when I get the time I will start posting again.

Thank you, Val for your continued support and friendship. You mean more to me then you know. :D

Quick update - I've lost 3 or 4 lbs since last posting. Everything is running smooth, but has slowed down a bit. I think my body is just getting used to the very low calories so I guess I'm going to have to amp up the exercise or something. heh We'll see how it goes.

Also every week I'm breaking my previous record on my walks. 3 weeks ago I was only able to walk about 1 1/2 miles, 2 weeks ago I ramped it up to a 2 mile walk, 1 week ago I did 2 1/2, and this week I got up to 3 miles. I'm going again tomorrow with The Sweetie and we're going to try to beat our previous record and walk for for 3 1/2 miles. Wish me luck! :D Not sure if I'm going to make it. I was really feeling the three miles last time. My feet where really throbbing by the time I got home. I guess it's to be expected when you are carrying around over 340 lbs. lol

Your walking regime sound brilliant! And it will get easier and easier. 3 miles walkin is nothin to sneeze at. I bet there are alot people in this day that don't move three miles thru out the whole day! I know..I was one of them!

Well done!

Keep up the hard work..you're doin it!
 
Hi Stacy, I have started using myfitnesspal too. What a great site. It has helped motivate me this week. Your body will just be throwing a bit of a hissy fit trying to thwart your efforts. You'll win the battle my friend. I think it's great that you love your body, regardless & really envy you for it. That's what it's all about. People with little self-esteem have the biggest battle trying to lose weight. 3 miles is certainly nothing to sneeze at, neither is 3-4lbs. Step by step you will get to your goal. When I was at my highest weight I don't think I would even have attempted it. Good for you Stacy! Thank you for your friendship & support xoxo Cate.

Hey, just found your diary, and I have to say that you are a very encouraging and inspirational person. I also read that you said you weren't always like that. Presently, I am in the process of trying to change my outlook on life. I think sometimes when people are negative and dwell on the bad things that happen to them that they just attract more negativity and bad woes. So, I'm on a journey to go back to the happy me that wasn't so stressed out, and knew how to get over the bumps in the road more smoothly and have a worthy, happier outcome. Also, in those days, it was so easy for me to lose weight, and probably because I didn't stress myself out so much, so reading your diary is kind of like a reminder to me. Especially when you said to think about whether something bad is going to matter in the next 5 or 10 years. Reality check right there! Nice to meet you.
 
Hey Stacey, just wanted to say that I'm really proud of you with your walking efforts - I know that it is really challenging to keep increasing your distance and pushing yourself constantly to go that little bit further, but hey look at how far you have come :) 3 miles is a great distance and just think of what you couldn't do when you started!!

46lbs too - jeepers what an achievement!! Keep it up hon...that goal is getting nearer every day :D

zomg you sneaky girl!!! you HAVE been on!!! I thought to look at your profile and it shows you were on 2 days ago and I see posts from November. I need my buddy back so swing by new journal next time you're on. I've decided to every time I log on this site to come by and bug you whether you see it or not :) You'll have to catch up on your own journal then, won't that be funny, lol. Btw LOVE your profile...way cute. Sometime I need to sit down and mess with mine I guess but I'm such a procrastinator.

So I'm tryin to get restarted btw but not off to such a great start. Holidays...what was I thinkin? But I figure it doesn't have to be perfect...I just gotta start. I'm doing freezer cooking and have stuff to finish up today so I have preportioned meals I made up to stop me runnin for fast food all the time. Gonna save alot of money :)

Not much else new on my end really...my life isn't too spectacular lol. Hope you're havin fun, whatever you're up to :)
 
I logged in so here I am Stacy :) Day off and about to do some cooking. Not that I want to but I have pork chops in the fridge that gotta be cooked up TODAY lol. Btw I finally posted this video of my dog and her kitten. The kitten's almost full grown now but still here ya go.
