Okay I think I bored you enough, girly. haha Oh before I do split, fantastic job with your loss again! WOOT almost 10 lbs gone!

If you must drink those energy drinks go for the one's without sugar because that is a massive amount of sugar... I never realized!!! Its great that you're not drinking them everyday or multiple times a day or one an hour or however bad your addiction to them was:rotflmao:

I totally agree with Sheryl about the calorie thing. You need to eat at least 1400 per day.

Why am I going straight to hell??? Have you not read my diary and my posts on everyone else's? lol I would think it would be pretty obvious..lol

The trick with the ice cream is to stand in the kitchen--do NOT sit down or take pint of ice cream with you into another room. And get a teaspoon--not a giant soup ladel. Take one spoonful, put lid on ice cream and put back into freezer immediately--before eating said teaspoon of ice cream.

That's my secret. Hope it works for ya.

Oh Jenna, you are too funny. And Elle, I forgot to say--congrats on all the weight loss--it is terrific!
 

I'm a calorie counting/ measuring spoon/ cup carrying nazi and have noticed that it's helped me to really stay on track.

I'm definitely the same way. Everything I eat is measured and written down while I'm in the kitchen then I put it into my computer at night.


Oh don't forget oatmeal for breakfast. Since it's full of fiber, you'll feel fuller/ satisfied for longer. Fiber is your friend. It pretty much expands in your tummy for longer periods of time, also it helps you to... well, you know. hahaa!

POOPING?! there, I said it for ya. lol oatmeal here I come. I bought a big thing of it a few weeks ago when I was making cookies so I guess it'll come in handy now!


Also, don't forget to drink at least 8 cups of water also.

:] I'm a waterholic. I drink about a gallon a day. It's so hard not to in the heat we've been having.


Okay... now as for your calories, no matter what... you never want to dip below 1,200 calories. Reason being: In order to get your metabolism at its potential peak, you need to "feed it." When calories fall too low for your body, your metabolism begins to slow down.. hence, being even MORE difficult to lose weight. Your body goes into a horrible Starvation Mode and THAT, my dear, freaking sucks. Weight loss can come to a complete halt for days... weeks... months.. unfortunate for some a year. Plateaus. Ick. Learn to despise that word. Have you used the calculators on the site to figure out what your daily caloric range is? If not, go ahead and do so, because you honestly don't want to fark up your metabolism whatsoever. If you find it difficult to reach the amount of calories, look to foods that are higher calories wise, but also healthy. (ie: peanut butter (good ol' fashion peanut butter, none of that less fat stuff... ), nuts, flaxseed, dairy (ie: I drink 1% milk to fill in the gaps), etc.)

eek! plateau=bad freakin news. I think the problem is me not being up in time to eat breakfast. I picked up some simply sleep the other day so hopefully I'll be getting better sleep and breakfast will fill in the gap of calories.


Egads... I'm so glad that I never hopped on that energy drink wagon. You already know they're not all too good for you, so I won't even go into that. However, look at it this way.... those Rockstar Juiced drinks are 16oz, right? On the label is says calories: 105 and sugar: 25.0g, right? Guess what..... that's for only half of the can. The whole thing is actually 205 calories with 50g of sugar!! :eek2: 50g of sugar is 12.5 teaspoons full of sugar. That's way too much sugar. Water is the best... but just becareful.

lol I don't think I can even look at one now knowing that there's twelve and a half teaspoons of sugar in it. I hadn't thought of it that way before!

lol I've been creeping around your diaries and I must say that it's full of cupcakes with crabs, donuts with grody things in the mix, some poop talk i do believe and LOTS of flirting. haha. and some zucchini bread that I dare never to eat. lol.

Thanks so much for the support!! :] As for my relapse to the energy drinks it was short lived and now I'm back on the wagon with less than 24 hours sober! Now I have to get all my period of time being sober tokens over again... DAMMIT!

And yes, maybe you are going to hell, but hey... hell is like one giant sauna! I'm sure it'd be good for at least maybe a pound or two? Plus that I'm sure hitler and satan will put ya to work. Damn, hell doesn't sound that bad now that I think of it. It'll be like a weight loss boot camp! Count me in.

Unfortunately, yes. They came banging at my door this morning demanding them back. Stupid EDA nazi's. *sigh* I guess it's back to chanting the serenity prayer...

FINALLY! 10lbs down!!

okay so I'm really late in updating this but I had to do a lot of crap today. er... yesterday. ugh.

well I lost the other half a pound this morning and now I'm down 10 pounds! 77.5 to go.

I cooked some chicken today and let me tell you that I have never touched raw chicken before and it is so GROSS! I felt like puking. Luckily I held back so the chicken was fine. I breaded it and all that stuff and it was so yummy. I figured in all the flour, egg, bread crumbs and my secret ingredient and the chicken of course and it came out to be about 287 calories for a 5 oz. piece. :]

The boyfriend came over and we had chicken and salad. He's so proud that I've been sticking to my diet that he brought me a HUGE bouquet of gorgeous flowers. :] That's why I love him. He's my biggest cheerleader.

Well I gotta get going cause we're gonna get to sleep before we run a million and one errands tomorrow. I'll be sure to check in but not sure when it'll be. Hope everyone is doing awesomely and had a great sunday.

Here's my ice cream secret. I freeze a tub of fat free cool whip. Then I eat a couple spoonfuls when I need frozen creaminess!

I also like weight watchers vanilla fudge sundae cups. The are reasonably large for only 140 calories and 1 gram of fat!

What a nice BF you have. A man who brings flowers, and encourages you in a nice way..woo hoo! Gotta love that. Didn't u say his name was Matt? That's my fav guy name. He's just living up to it.

:] Thanks for the suggestion!! So, I went to the freezer last night and used Kimberly's technique BUT I couldn't bring myself to actually eat the ice cream. I felt too guilty inside. lol. I guess this whole eating well thing is catching up with me. :eek:

Thanks so much Kimberly! I think next time I'll definitely be going with frozen or maybe wear some gloves. Raw meat has always creeped me out and up until now I have refused to touch it. Yeah... I'm lame. :cool:

I never actually mentioned his name. But you were close in the length of it. Matt... David... Not a big difference. but I'm sure he'd let you call him Matt if you wanted. haha :] He's tall, puerto rican, and looks scary but he's just a big softy. :)

Oh shucks... I also forgot to mention, when I have a craving for chocolate ice cream I usually indulge in Popsicle's Fudgsicles- No sugar added. They're only 40 calories with 1 gram of fat and 2 grams of sugar. WOOT! You can eat like 2 of those and still be guilt free! Well, that's what I do. LOL
