Thanq all in this "RUNNING" section for motivating me

I have been reading most of the relevant threads. I am 196 lbs (5.10 feet) on May7th my bday. Today May18th I weigh 189lbs. Its only this RUNNING section made me do this. I am 27 now and I never ran in my life, In fact i always try to do it, but I am afrad thats its not for me. The tips and tricks are extremely useful where most of you said for beginners it can be interval star, where I can run for a min and walk and run again and walk......That really worked for me, I am trying to keep up the pace, Now everyday I walk (MIX OF JOG AND WALK) for 1 hour. I think I will do it for more time in coming days.

I sincerely wanna thankyou all for all your posts. You guyz rock....I started to feel great about losing weight.

Thank you all

I am 185lbs on 22nd may :D happy happy, also increased my walk time to 1hr 30 mins :)

Congratulations! Keep it up. 4 pounds in 5 days seems kind of bad, be careful :)

182.00lbs on May30th 06....In total I lost 14 lbs in 23 days. :D is this any harm? I thought the first few kilos shred off easily.

Kuja, is this gonna harm me?

that's a lot of weight in a short time...as long as you are eating and drinking enough water and not exercising too long you should be ok, but you could always ask a doctor or nutritionist to make sure.

Good for you for sticking with it. Exercise really does make such a huge difference in your mood and energy!

Yeah I drink 2 litres or 65oz in 8hours at work, and drink more 33oz every 1 hour of exercise, and more liquids, during day, take multi vitamins, no new diest restrctions, reduced the amount of fat foods, thats it :D

Keep up the good work! Shredding the pounds feels awesome I bet. It goes to show that hard work and dedication can really pay off.

It is amazing how your body can do miracles when getting what it wants (nutrition, water, exercise, ect.)
