Hi, my name is Teresa, I'm new to forums of any kind and I'm looking to take control of my weight. I live in Edmonton AB, am 45 years old, have a 17 month old daughter (I know, pretty old to have a toddler, I'm a late starter :)), run a p-t bookkeeping business out of my home, work p-t for H&R Block and try to look after our home. By the time I'm done all that I'm exhausted and crave sugar just to stay awake. I'm 5'4" tall and weigh ~153 lbs, and since the birth of my daughter, what I did have for a waist is pretty much gone. I guess I need to do a few hundred situps a day.

I have a wedding to go to this July long weekend and I'd love to lose about 15-20 lbs by then, I think that's a reasonable goal, that's about 1 lb per week.

Anyway, the last time I was successful at weightloss was when I did weight watchers with a friend and having a weightloss buddy helped keep me on track so I'm hoping this forum may do the same thing for me. So, I'm picking Wednesdays for my weekly weigh-ins/announcements and maybe I'll actually start to exercise a little bit again. I've got all kinds of exercise videos that I enjoy but anytime I try to do one my dd ends up thinking it's playtime and literally crawls all over me, and if I don't play with her she gets very upset. I'll have to work on that with her.
