i started lifting a few weeks ago and noticed a slight pain on the inside of my elbow when bench pressing. Its not so much painful as it is annoying. its like something is twitching or pinching approximately right here:
it seems no matter what i do i get some type of ache or pain. i started running about a month ago and i got shin splints. never had them before. im very out of shape but ive been trying my best for the past month but these little injuries are concerning me.
so should I just tought it out or should i rest it? Could this be a sign of a more serious problem? My pains are very minor so I could just ignore it but I dont want to seriously injure myself in the future.
im 23, male, 5'9'', 190 pounds.
my routine:
-3 days a week lifting. full body workout. bench, military press, pull ups, curls, squats.
-3 days light cardio: 1-2 mile run
-1 day rest
i make sure i stretch my lower body thouroughly but i really dont have many upper body stretches. i just have one chest stretching excersise:
and one shoulder stretch:
