Teenager Needs Help!!!

I am 16 years old, 210 lbs, and 6 foot 2. I have never actually done weight training before and I wanna take my body from where it is right now and make it better. I was wondering if someone could recommend a workout involving free weights which could help me get down to 150 lbs.

do yourself a favour and search the forum for "full body Workouts." There is a wealth of information on this site.

3xFBW per week, some cardio, some rest and the right diet will get you there. However, to me 150 pounds is thin for someone who is 6"2'
 
There are plenty of sample routines and routines used by other people posted on this site, as well as all the other info you need in order to get started properly. Have a good read through the Weight Lifting 101 thread, and pay particular attention to details on cutting and cardio.
As a beginner you should start with a full-body routine and also work in some cardio exercise to help lose the fat.
 
Yeah, don't go overboard. I'm sure you feel out of shape at 210, but 150 pounds on a 6-2 frame is gonna be kinda wiry.
 
i say you go for a 190lb beast!!!
if you want to lose some weight, look around the fat loss section. read stickies. they say everything we would tell you to begin with. also look at the weight training 101 sticky.

so if you lose 20lbs fat, you will be at 190. then i say bulk!!! trust me. i am 5'8'' and 170lbs. if i was 150, i would be skinny. if YOU were 150 you would be too LITTLE!

what is your body fat percentage?
 
as long as I can get out of my rut here looking how i am
higher weight is fine
might been a lil overambitious of ym previous goal:p
