Teenage Weight Loss - Denny's Diary

Well official weigh in was at 247 (looked like 246 but I don't want to jump ahead.) Anyways very happy with what I've seen (weight loss). I think tonight will be another night in the pool for awhile - i feel nice and sore. Do I feel different from the soda, probably too soon to tell. However, that's not going to make me drink it. Today will be Day 3 without fast food. Hopefully I can withstand it and eat at home. I will be making another update at about lunch time or so, see yah.
 
Hey dont feel to bad, you need to have someting once and a while as long as its not an everyday thing. Tim's is great i love the ice caps cant go trough the summer with out one lol(well may be not this summer)and the donuts are pretty good to .you did good anyways no pop and you went swimming exellent exercise :) and 247lbs woohoo your going down!!keep it up your doing great :)

Hey there peoples...

GOOD NEWS... again for lunch I had yogurt and a gornalla bar at 11:30am and then at 5:00PM I had supper and it consisted of some noodles and pasta from a box, salad, deep fried chicken sandwich and some curly fries. I had water to drink. NOW im full! Late tonight I will have some strawberries and go swimming again. Swimming was fun.
 
Hey glad you liked swimming. we have a pool here in the village so i go every day (in the summer)its great exercise. You should look at doing some sort of protein for luch it really will help keep you full longer but yogurt and a granolla bar is a good snack.good for you for bringing a luch though.your on your way :)

The village eh! You must be telling the truth that you live in a small area. What kind of protein should I have?

Anyways tonight I ended up going swimming for about 45 minutes - tired now. Then I came home and now I'm eating some strawberries and some water. (My fav!)

Days with no Fast Food: 3
Days with no Pop 3

I wonder how long I can last... I'll be going on my 4th day tomorrow.

The funny thing was, I've been offered about 3 times today if I would like a pop. Instead I got water haha. I'm loving this. Tomorrow I can't wait to weigh myself... (it's better to weigh in the morning right?) ;) Untill the next reply... cioas.
 
Hey good for you 3 days and you made it thats exellent! :) As far as protein goes it should be a lean protein some thing like chicken breast, tuna egg whites , salmon some thing like that you can make a sandwich w/ them or if your at home you can cook them up, there very good for you.1% cottage cheese is another one(but not everybody likes it)
For weighing your self do it first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything you weigh less then. strawberries are my fave! and theyre great for you!Keep drinking that water,exercising and staying away from that fast food,your doing great :D

Yeah cutting the soda makes a huuuuuuge difference. After a couple of months of kicking it off my diet my blood sugars were good enough for me to be taken off insulin completely. If you like pop so much just switch to diet. It's not exactly good for you but it's not as bad as regular.
 
Hey, I just read through your journal! It's awesome that you've cut the pop, and the fastfood. If I worked at KFC, that'd be really hard for me. I like KFC... I work at a grocery store, and right next to it is a Boston Market, so everytime I have a break I'm tempted to go over there. -_-; I just joined this site yesterday, and it's awesome.

I'm glad Smiley is being so helpful to you! I'm glad I found another teenager on this site. I'm gonna follow your journal so you better keep up with everything! I have a journal as well, incase you wanna check it out or something. Right now I'm really addicted to Subway... It's supposed to be healthy, but I really shouldn't eat it everyday. During the school year, I used to eat a Panera bagel every morning which is really bad... Definately not going back to that next year.

Anyways, keep up the awesome work!
