Well so far my day is going well I don't feel hungry that is a big plus
I am not craving sweets yet thats a major plus.
My menue so far for today is
I had 3 (med) eggs 3 centercuts of bacon and 2oz of chedder cheese to melt
on my eggs I paper towled my bacon to death to remove alot of the grease lol this was my breakfast-lunch
Dinner I had 2 pork chops small boneless and some green beans
my total carbs if I am reading everything correctly is 8 carbs and that was for the greenbeans(which I thought would have 1-0 carbs)

I made several batches of Sugar free Jello red green blue lol for those cravings that may creep up as the night grows old lol!
I am in about an hour here going off to do my 5 miles on my bike and my 80 crunches and whatever else I am in the mood for.
Thanks hillbilly for the info anything you wanna share feel free cuz this is sort of new to me I tried it a while ago lasted 2 days before I found I was preggers so I dunno yet if I like it.Tammy:D

So like you are doing low carb now? I've heard you can lose really fast on it but my husband says it's unhealthy and don't want me to do it!:rolleyes: But if you lose good I may try it with you!!

Well I am giving it a try atleast for the 14 day
introduction.I am mainly trying it to cure my hungry pain feeling
and also lose this 45+lbs by March.I have heard good and bad but
1 good thing for me atleast I don't care much for red meat(except
steak)but anything hamburgery I don't eat!
I will let ya know how it goes but if it gets to hard I may switch
back to low calorie either way I am losing this 45 lbs!!!!!:D

Hey did anyone see that the new tickers have your BMI listed this is cool!

Ok it is 11:06 PM and I know this isn't the diet for me!
I was looking and cleaning out my fridge and freezer and
I saw all of my Lean Cusines and Weight Watchers and my botton
drawer full of apples and I wanted to eat an apple and couldn't I
went for the sugar free jello --->not the same people!
I know I didn't give it long but my energy today is BLAH also and I can't
go day in and day out like this so no biggie just back to counting
cals tomorrow :D and off to bed tonight before I eat something

Tammy that diet is rough and sometimes you get major headaches and just eating meat and such just dont do it for alot of us. It's crazy restrictive.
 
Good morning! Soory the diet didn't work. It was worth a shot though. You'll lose the way you are!! You have been doing good. Darn those holidays anyway!:)
 
Hey Tammy! Long time no speak! Sorry to hear the diet didn't work out for ya! I hate it when something that seems so promising doesn't pan out at ALL! just kinda sucks huh? Specially when you've got a nice even groove with something that was helping you lose weight, then you switch to keep your body guessing (not saying that was what you were doing) but for whatever reason..it still stinks :( BUt it looks like you're getting back in the game! good for you! Hope you have a great day!

I am back on my low calorie diet and I am very very
extremly happy with it in compares to the low carb way(even if it was
just 1 day lol)! I hopped on the scale tho and it did read 1 and 1/2lbs
lost so I probally would have lost really good with it but I would miss
even the healthy foods I am alowd to eat! Hillbilly I think I would have
gone insane on that diet LOL!
Today so far once again I slept through breakfast.
Breakfast sleep
Lunch a South Beach 2 turkey wrap meal w/sugar free jello(210 cals 9 fat)
lol whats funny is the 1 little pk of lite mayo has 30 cals 4 fat I replaced that with mustard and knocked off some cals and fat!
I will report back later......

Tammy.......... Food looks good and sleep for breakfast takes in very few calories lol........ Think I'm gonna have my breakfast at 2 pm lol........ It's a difficult process....
 
Goodevening well as far as food I am doing great better than yesterday!
Lol hillbilly the only way I eat breakfast is when kids go to school and I am
up allready lately I have been sleeping.I just have to get my exersicing in.

Day 2
Breakfast Notta
Lunch Southbeach turkey wraps(210 cals 9 fat)
Snack Weight watchers mississippi mudpie(140 cals 3 fat)
Dinner 1/2 plate of turkey breast 1/2 plate mixed veggies(350 cals 8 fat)Guestamating
SNACK 1 peanutbutter slim fast bar(120 cals 4 fat)1 teasp peanutbutter(40 cals 3 fat)
5 miles on stationary bike 80 crunches some weights

Ok stuck with what I posted ate what I posted and exersiced
the 5 miles on my bike=19.45 minutes+80 crunches and weights.
I am going to bed in a 1/2 hour to avoid food and gain sleep more
than 5 hours shooting for 8 hours sleep :D Tammy

in my half asleep state i was reading this as ...
.... blah bah blah diet blah blah meat blah blah tickers ... OOOO TICKERS HAVE BMI! *perks up*

Now Ill have to go get a purdy ticker again :)

ps. take no offence at the blahs, its just late at night here and words were blending :)

I do and feel like blah blah after hours to ;)

I am on day 3 of my "Fresh New Start" and feeling great.There are
so much more yummier choices with low calorie dieting and I was even
thinking I may have a drink on New Years Eve and if I were on Adkins
I wouldn't have been able to.I peaked on the scale and already 194
thats -4lbs so far even tho I weighed in and started on Tuesday I would
still like my weigh in days to be on Friday's so I will post my weight this
Friday.
DAY 3
Breakfast I know I slept again kids are outta school
LUNCH- 1 Lean Cuisine chciken club Pinini sandwhich w/mustard(320 cals 9 fat)
SNACK Weigh Watchers stawberry cheesecake(140 cals 4 fat)
DINNER- weight watchers chciken fettuchini(340 cals 6 fat)2 serv mixed veggies(80 cals 0 fat)
SNACK -a couple pieces of turkey breast and a peanutbutter spoon(200 cals 9 fat)

G'morning Ms. Tammy(well it's morning for me) The scale is calling to me as well but I'll weigh in the morning. Right now I'm getting the late night cravings. I didn't have anything but it's prob the sugar kick lol. Glad your diet is going well for you..........

Howdy hilly,
So are you doing a low carb diet? That was my prob I didn't
think I could go day in and day out with that feeling and all the healthy
lean cuisines and weight watchers were looking like scrumpious so I
decided to go back to my old way I had success with it I am just so damn
impatient! Hang in there and it will get better!

Thank you MECH I am feeling 100 % better I had no energy eating all the
junk I ate.Tammy:D
 
It's not strictly low carb except that carbs generally have alot of calories. I am trying to stay away from sugar for a few weeks until I can get these cravings out of the way. Mostly I try to stay away from concentrated sugars and syrups but a little sugar after a few weeks wont kill me.
 
carbs have 4 calories per gram, protien have 4 calories per gram
fat has 9 calories per gram

So although you are eating only fats and protiens, you actually get to eat a bit less to loose weight because you're not cutting out the fats.
Calories in vs calories out. Doesnt matter what you eat so long as the in is less than the out :)
