Take Two....

Hi Florence. *sigh* only 15 weeks until Summer.Yay! Honey, it's a shame you feel that you are subjected to so much pressure. Be yourself & go your way. Try to gain the confidence to trust your instincts & know that your path is the right path. Big hugs xoC

I'm actually glad that the hottest part of the summer is behind us; easier to be active when I'm not being fried.

Yeah, definitely working on trying to just be myself. Work in progress, hopefully soon to be finished. :)
Did a step workout today so that's great. Exercise is starting to make me feel good when I achieve it. It's a nice progression from when it was hard to even do a 20 minute walk.
Everything is just one step closer to a new me. xx

Haven't been writing in my journal for a while. I think I have been in a bit of denial regarding my weight loss progress. Sounds weird you say? You might be right. :)
I think in my head I have been doing an excellent job but in reality the picture is different.
In the past I have not decided to write down what I eat. I can see know it might keep me a little more accountable if I do. It might help me to see where I am going wrong.

So:

Breakfast: two eggs with coffee and soy milk
Lunch: Tuna with salad
Snack: fruit
Dinner: ??? will be some sort of protein and veggies though.

I will also try for the recommended 8 glasses of water. I tend to aim for 3 refills of my water bottle which is 600 ml's each.

Exercise: 30 min walk with hubby and a 30 min step class.

There is going to be a list of no foods as well. I have disliked doing this in the past as I thought it might push me to want the food more but I have a nice trip planned at Christmas time with my family so it's time to get serious.

No processed foods. Not hard to achieve re getting whole foods just a discipline issue.
No sugar: The only exception will be my daily allowance of whole fruit.
No dairy: That's because I am allergic to it but love the stuff. I think dairy is fine to have generally.
No alcohol: This is covered in the no sugar section but just putting it down so I am doubly sure :)

These restrictions will be revisited after my first goal of 85kg is reached on the 13th of December.

So here's to a new beginning and a great journey for the next 3 and a bit months.

Sometimes we just have to boss ourselves about a bit Florence.....gently. Sounds like a very good, doable plan to me xoC

Writing things down is one of the few ways that are actually proven to help with weightloss, so go you!
