Take 2

I lost 24 pounds back in fall...and lemme tell you...it's scary how easy it is to gain back. At least for me. I already gained 7 pounds of it back, and I'm starting to get very pissed off at myself. So here I am once again, finally serious about completing my mission. This time, I'm not satisfied until I reach my goal weight. AND STAY AT MY GOAL WEIGHT! This means exercise! Weights! Cardio! I have stopped exercising for a few months due to schedule overloady-ness. But my life is a little calmer now - so no excuses! I will make it through - with the help of my trusty iPod, Elvis, of course.
I'm ready! *dances*

thats the thing im mostly afraid of, gaining all the weight back after i reach my goal weight.

is their any way to maintain your weight long enough so that you dont gain weight like crazy?

Great decision!

I know how you feel, I'm a notorius Yo-yo dieter. But NOW I'm serious, and I haven't been under 146 lbs in 4 years, so yay!

Best wishes to you! :)

I read that keeping the good habits for life, and exercising regularly keeps pounds off. I heard that people who occasionally returned to their dieting tricks (calorie counting, food journal, portion watching) when they noticed the numbers on the scale going up, were more likely to maintain their weight.

Hehehehehehe:D

Since today is Saturday and I'm going to have a big lunch at someone's house, I'm allowing myself 2000 calories. Had 180 calories so far (oatmeal). Haven't decided on a weigh-in day yet. There are two scales in my room (one digital and one...other kind), but I never feel like using them. It's the complete opposite of how I was before, weighing myself every single day. Not sure which way is better.

I find myself obsessed with watching the scale...I think it motivates me more, but, I'm necrotic like that haha.

Welcome back, and I hope that you get those lbs off! All we can do is get back up, and dust ourselves off.

Weighing yourself daily is ok if you acknowledge that your weight can vary and that a difference of +1lb doesn't necessarily imply that you are really gaining weight.
