Swimming + Workout

Ok here's the thing. I have to do a TRIATHLON soon. May 20th to be exact.

I have to do 500 m swim and i tried swimming today and hell i barely did 50 m. What am i gonna do!?!??! Somebody give me some tips on increasign my endurance in swimming. What should i workout to help me swim faster and more??

Plus I wanna swim and workout on the same day. How can i manage this??
 
Um, sorry to be honest here, Triathalons take months and months of preparation... lol you are going to be in the digger for sure.

Swimming is very much cardio as it is shoulders. The legs do a bit, but you really need to focus on proper breathing and cardio endurance. Swim ALOT. And run / bike / wahtever. Do this everyday you can. DOnt think you can accomplish a triathalon in top place with only a month or so before it. lol sorry
 
these things do take months of training, just focus on finishing, that will be a huge accomplishment. at this point, swim and run as much as you can, build up your endurance. when in the water practice your breathing, and just keep going, keep telling yourself in your head that you can make it through

****. I am screwed. I only have weekends to train and the triathlon is really soon. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
