SweatPea is going to sweat it all off...

You pupster is a cutie!

I love dogs in general too- my hubby calls me a dog expert because I know so many different breeds, but it's only from watching dog shows on TV and doing alot of research on different breeds before choosing my Finnegan.

I love dogs too. The only dog show I generally have watched is the Dog Whisper. But I haven't watched it in awhile.

The scale is my enemy! I am not happy with it at all. I've been working out super hard for two weeks now, and nothing!

I'm going to have to do more weights I guess and eat super clean.

The scale and I aren't on good terms this week either. Don't worry. Try having a clean week, and then I bet your body will react WONDERFULLY. I switch it up a bit from week to week. I eat really well for 2 or 3 weeks, and then eat moderately well for a week and I will still lose.

Don't let the scale get you down though... its nothing that won't happen in time.

Grrr . . hate it when the scale dosn't reflect hard work! But let that stop/impede your progress! Keep pushing thru- I know all about plateau's! Just keep going and you the scale will catch up!

You rock!

Thanks lady for the encouragement! I so need it.

Thanks Yarm! I won't give up.

I just finished a 55 min. elliptical workout (4.02 miles, 473.6 cals, 6054 strides.) I decided to do the Heart rate workout - I didn't go as fast but with the resistance, I burned more, and I was exhausted when done. So that's good.

The pinched nerve in my leg just started bothering me now. I'm hoping it will work itself out, because it really bothers me on the elliptical - and I prefer that over the treadmill.

Exercise total for 4th week of challenge: 55 min.

30 min. of resistance band (arms and legs) plus balance ball workout.

Exercise total for 4th week of challenge: 85 min.

Whew, you really are sweating it off. Keep it up...the weight will follow. Have faith.

BTW, you're dog looks like a really sweetie!

Hi LL! Hopefully you're right. I did manage to lose another 1/2 lb this morning - just hope it stays or a bigger number by Friday's weigh-in.

Thanks about the dog. He is a sweetie when he's not getting into trouble. :p

Updating for yesterday, 90 min. of exercise.

Exercise total for 4th week of challenge: 175 min.

A few weeks ago I became discouraged because I'm working my butt off in the gym, eating healthfully, tracking everything and I lose nothing.. but my husband who didn't really do that much working out has lost several pounds. It just makes me so mad. So, I guess I decided to give in to the urge to splurge and ate badly... I'm no longer doing that.. We are different people, and we started at different places. He started with only needing to lose 20 lbs.. he's lost 25 lbs or so. I started needing to lose 34 and I've lost 18 or 19. It sucks that he can now eat more and not worry about it and I have to struggle.. sometimes, I wish women would get the good end of the stick.

Well, sorry for going on that rant, but I guess I'll leave it. I'll be sending you some weightloss wishes. And awesome job for all that exercise you are getting in. I'm sure you'll have to see the #'s moving soon! Hope you are having a great day!

OOoooooooooooooOOO... Happy Belated Birthday!!!

I"m sorry you're working so hard to see such little results. I think we're all feeling that way lately. I put in so much effort all around last week and it felt like a slap in the face to se .2lbs. But we'll figure it out. Women were made to last:D

Men always seem to lose weight faster. It's not fair!

Thanks for the good weight loss thoughts. :)
