SweatPea is going to sweat it all off...

Wow! Look at all that exercise! Looks like you've been working out hard the last couple days! Good for you! You seem to be all set for the challenge :) How's the cabbage coming along? Did you say you were done w/ all five cups?

Well there is some leftover hot and sour cabbage soup - I'm sure I'm done, but I will eat that tomorrow (had to give my tummy a rest.) And then I will be all done for sure.

I'm sure that won't happen. Between Angel and I, I think we're covered on the exercise. But make sure you get in something during the week! Because I'm not sure how the stats would work out if it were just Angel and I doing it (I know she is way ahead of me in the numbers dept.)

Well I've got the exercise down... I started commuting to work for several reasons and one of them was that the 50 minute walk roundtrip keeps me from gaining when I'm not feeling the gym so I count that as part of my exercise. Unless she comes up with something like 14 hours per person, I should always be covered in that department. I'm more worried about the weightloss. Ate & drank way too much over the weekend and now I'm pmsing:( Hope I can at least not gain weight! And I did the dance last night so if you achieved the detour I certainly think we're all in good shape with the detour and we all will have our exercise points:):):):)

Wow sweatpea, that's a lot of minutes you have put into exercising lately. WOOOT. Hopefully I'll catch up to ya in the coming weeks!

That soup sounds interesting. .. I love boiled cabbage too. (Hmmm. wondering if I should even look for a recipe because hubby hates cabbage)

Keep up that awesome work!

Yep, I ate the cabbage. :D That's cool you got the dance done. Weightloss is so iffy, isn't it? Sometimes it doesn't matter what you do, you don't seem to get results and then some days you can eat like a cow and lose a pound. :D

bmohearn - Thanks! It's really worth it, I know, but man am I feeling it.

photocrazed - The hot and sour soup was really good and you really couldn't taste the cabbage. It's worth a try. But it makes a ton, so be prepared to eat it if you make it! I used to exercise like 3 to 4 hrs a day depending on the day (between working at Curves, doing martial arts, and then working out at home.) It's just that these last 2 yrs, I've slowed down. But I'd rather be doing the martial arts than working out here at home. ;)

Sounds like you are doing GREAT!
You really are working it hard.
I can't believe that you ate all that cabbage. Glad I wasn't at your house!!! LOL
Keep up all the great work girl!

Got in 50 min. on the elliptical tonight (4 miles, 485.8 cals, 6354 strides.)

1st week Total for challenge = 291 min. (4 hrs + 51 min.)

Yeah, well done girl!! I over did it on the cabbage last night and got up this morning with a stomach ache, LOL LOL oh well, I had to get my points in for my team, I would do it again in a heart beat too, plus it looks like I'll be eating cabbage soup for the next week. LOL LOL Should make for a nice loss come next weigh in. LOL LOL
Have a great weekend!
Kim

Just a quick post this morning, but my new weigh-in # is 164!

I'm right on your heels. I weighed in at 188.4 this morning.
Congrats!

Hi all! :waving: Thanks for the 'grats. I do feel super about the number on the scale. I probably gained back that pound for today as my youngest son's class had a "restaurant" this week. And today was our day to eat there - they had pasta e fagioli (pasta-bean soup), spaghetti w/ meat sauce, and dessert - mocha semifreddo. It was all good. I ate all of my soup. Only about 1/4 of the spaghetti as they loaded the plate super high with the noodles and then a little sauce. So I pushed half of the noodles away so I could actually taste the sauce, and only ended up eating half of that. And the dessert was fabulous. I think I'm going to ask for the soup and dessert recipe.

But the rest of the day has been good as far as eating so even though I can't count the calories like I'd like to, I know I didn't do too bad. I was starving today at 5pm. Of course that could be because I had little protein.

I'm taking the day off for exercise so I can go at it super hard this weekend and all thru the week. Except, I did watch the capoiera videos and did the first little "jig". Which was quite fun. Oh and I walked today at school for about 10 min. So I guess every little bit counts when you are going for close to 6 hrs of exercise for a week!

Oh I can only imagine the tummy troubles you had today.

Hello sweatpea,

Thanks for visiting over in "lemon land". It wonderful having you around. 164!!!? That's fantastic and from looking over your exercise rigor, you definitely deserve it! Looking at the amount of exercise you're getting, I sure realize that I need to kick mine up a notch...or two or three or four. LOL.

The restaurant at your son's class is such a fun idea. Definitely worth the calories I'm sure! What grade is your son in?

That restaurant idea sounds so fun!

Good job on all the exercise and weight loss this week! It seems like the challenge is really pushing you and helping you out! That's why I love them so much :)

Hey Lemon! Thank you. :) I wouldn't be exercising that much if it weren't for the challenge. Of course it is helping.

My youngest son is in the 5th grade. He's at a private school that's mixed 4th-6th grade.
