O.k. I am sitting here, so at least that is a start. Each day I should set aside at least 10 minutes to jot down my daily activities and then what I actually ate and drank.

So here it goes. Yesterday Sat. 12th. I ate 1 english muffin for breakfast and drank about 4 or 5 cups of coffee with the Sugar( I know bad on my part), however I will not use sweet n low, splenda etc since they are made with rat poisins and chlorine and I refuse to put that in my body. Plus, Splenda gives me bad headaches. I just need to cut the sugar out. Then we had an appointment to have our eyes read etc so on the way there my hubby stopped at McD's to grab a bite since he had not eaten anything. So, at 11:15 I had a Crispy Chicken off the dollar menu and a Sweet Tea (there again is that Sugar) we left the eye appt. and went to our store to move to the other side which we only completed half of since a family member did not show up like they were supposed to and it was hard to do handle moving and watching a 1 yr old at the same time. Came home around 3pm and had 2 corn dogs and then later in the evening I had a piece of fudge. I drank 2 glasses of ice tea NO SUGAR!!!

Not to mention its that special time of the month so I am wondering if that is why I have not lost much weight this week. Plus, I have all kinds of cravings that I am trying to ignore so I am really hungry. I wish I knew what to do.

Anyway, I will sneak my 10 minutes in tonight to write about todays journey in losing my 40-45lbs so I can wear that bikini this summer.

Sunday 1-13-08

Today I woke up and had a cup of hot tea (NO SUGAR YAHH!!!). I ate two english muffins with butter on top. I laid back down for a few hours and watched the kids play games on tv. I then got up and had a few pieces of chocolates and made a pitcher of ice tea with no sugar. I thawed out a bag of chicken breast and sliced them into strips and then cooked them in olive oil and made fajitas, I had 2 for lunch and 2 for dinner with my ice tea. on them I added a tablespoon of salsa and sour cream and half a piece of american cheese. I did run to the store for some necessities and only purchased a 20oz mt. dew but, no candy bars at checkout. YAAAA for me I usually buy a twix. I am proud of myself for limiting it to just a pop.

I did have a couple more pieces of chocolate tonight when we were making more suckers for the store. So, I am not eating anything else for the rest of the night.

So, for today I think I did a pretty good job of not eating because I am bored. We will see how I do this week that will be hard.

Probably so. I can always count on a good two weeks out of the month when the scale won't move.

Good job on the unsweet tea and no candy bar! :)
 
1-14-08

I am a little early to write since the day is not quite over yet. I had a long night since little one was up almost all night for some strange reason, but she fell asleep on the big chair by herself I think around 5am so then I had to get up at 7am to get our oldest ready for school. So, I started my coffee pot. I usually make 6 cups, but only seemed to drink 4 cups (GOOD FOR ME!!!) then I had 2 english muffins w/butter. Got her off to school and then I made breakfast for the other 2. Not so bad, I didn't eat anything while they ate. Around 11am or a little after. I reheated my chicken and had another fajita without the cheese. But, had a small amount of salsa and sour cream. Now, by this time I am picking at things everytime I go into the kitchen. Only, because the chocolate is still on the counter and needs to go back down to the store tomorrow. I will take it there tomorrow!!!! So, of course I have had a piece here and there and everytime I come downstairs to do laundry. So, maybe that would make up for it since I am excersing going up and down the steps (HAHA). I have had no pop and have had only ice tea with no sugar. So, I would say today is some what a success, since I did not sit down with my bag of chips and eat them watching The View. Also, helps that hubby is off work for a while so he is monitoring me and making comments that are keeping me away from the food as well.

I plan on making salisbury steak and potatoes for dinner tonight, so I will have one piece of that and a little scoop of potatoes and of course my ice tea. I vow not to eat anymore chocolate tonight!!! I know easier said than done.
 
Im in your boat with the PMS thing and the one thing thats killing me is trying to find something to kill the chocolate craving
 
Its about that time of the month for me too unfortunantly! Its gonna put a big damper in keeping up with my walking plan, I get terrible cramps!

Oh that chocolate is a killer, I have been doing well with cutting out the bad foods but the candy just calls my name. I don't even eat candy but my body is begging me for sweets.

Its day 7 for me and i have only had Diet sodas but Im beginning to think they are not any better for me so I will be trying the UN sweet tea as well.

keep up the good work, its gonna be rough but I think this place is gonna be great everyone seems really supportive.
 
I'm glad that you are honest on what you eat.(stay true)
When I get in the mood for sweets, I will chew sugar free gum.
The best thing is to drink water all the time. I would try to use something other that real butter,you could use a light jam or somthing.
