Survey: Which exercise do you prefer

Well the results are not really surprising, if you think about it.

DeadLifts and Squats are the best excercises that you can do in a gym.
Deadlift works the back, the lats, the quads, the glutes, the arms and forearms, traps and the abs. Which proves that the deadlift produces more results than the bench press and the squats.

And that I remember someone once told me that deadlifts work more than 200muscles in a single rep. (Someone confirm/debunk please)

Now can you think of a better excercise than that?

I love deadlifts. But I have a mental block that if I miss the form even slightly, I may hurt my back. So I do deadlifts regularly but only at low weights. Hence I do not push myself to add more weights for deadlifts.

Squat is king.
Deadlift is the other king.
Bench is the queen that's passed between the two like a dirty hoe.
 
I'd go with the squats... actually I wonder what all the deadlift fuzz is about. it surely works your lower back very nicely.. maybe also your glutes and your tighs; but the most preferable exercise? am I missing something?

Lower back, glutes, hams, quads, forearms, trapezius, obliques (steadying yourself on the concentric and eccentric) and a whole lot more.

It's the other king.

depends what dead you do, if i do the standard deadlift i feel it in my quads too. i think the deadlift uses more muscles than the squat.
 
wtf has this been turned into?? people are not saying what they like the best, they are saying what is the best... I like benching the best, but sure, squats and deadlifts are better...

So the question is a bit vague.
I "prefer" that my clients do the most effective exercise.

If it's what do you "like" the best, then I WOULD have to say bicep curls: watching your muscles fill as they contract
 
i like bicept curls because when im done, there pumped and super big hehe :D

i do like deadlifts alot too cuz i like gettin scratches on my knees, i tell everyone, those huge scabs are from deadlifting, it makes me feel good haha lol :cool:

Welcome to the world of Internet forums.:)

Remember good and bad are relative terms. You may know what is "best" but still prefer something else for different reasons.

Ask anyone who knows bit about bodybuilding / meaningful weight training, you would get the same answer that "deadlifts and squats are the best".

ON june 10 on going to count up the results on this survey.

The survey was a bit vague. The survey was meant for what you like the best not what is the best. But most people actually do like squats and deadlifts the best because you can see more improvement. I do squats but maybe I should add deadlifts to my workout...
 
bench and barbell curls are the funnest:D
