Nope, it's just around the corner. I keep trying to focus on the fact that I can have a real job by April and actually not be completely poor anymore! That will be a nice feeling.
 
That's so cool that your progressing and finishing up in school. I'm on the waiting list for the Nursing Program at the Community College here. I'm totally ready to go to, they just don't have enough room for everyone who is applying (don't have enough teachers or facilities). Whatever, whenever they do call on me though, I am ready! I want to get school finished so bad and go work in a career that I am actually interested in. My current job now is alright but, it definitely isn't my passion, or something that I am particularly interested in. It just pays pretty decent and covers the bills for now.....

Living at home with Mom and Dad wouldn't be too bad, if it's only for a month. I have a lot of my friends right now living at home and I get semi-jealous of that, just because their parents help them out and take care of some things for them (i.e. no rent, groceries, etc....) It's not an option for me. I live on my own and completely support myself. Man, that is going to be kinda scary when school finally does start, hehe.

I didn't know you were planning to do Nursing! How cool. That makes me happy. We need more men in Nursing, damnit.

Yeah, I hate those people who get to live at home and have their parents helps them out. haha :p It's not an option for me either. I fend for myself.

Yea. I hope to be a RN someday. It took me awhile to figure out that is what I want to do. Just gotta get my ass thru school.

Fending for yourself isn't completely a bad thing. At least we have one up on those who don't know how.....

Holy crap. Exam stress is making me eat like a piglet! At least I've been getting plenty of exercise... against my will, mind you. I've had to shovel the damn driveway three times this week. We've been getting a crazy amount of snow for this time of year! For the past few years we haven't gotten snow until mid-January. I don't think I've seen a white Christmas since I was in high school.

Only two exams left though. I'll be all done on Saturday! YAY! Then comes the 18th. :) My parents and I fly out on the 18th to go spend Christmas with Sis and Peter in Ontario. All the excitement is too distracting for exam time!!!

Thanks for the good luck wishes. :) It's finally over! I feel soooooooo good. Of course, now I want to celebrate by putting unhealthy amounts of alcohol in my body, so I can't say my eating will go back to normal quite yet. lol I have big intoxification plans for Wednesday when all my friends are done with their exams. I'm sure it will be a good time. But I'll still try to get back to taking good care of myself. Exams REALLY caused me to eat like crap. But it didn't affect my weight at all. Maybe I'm becoming one of those annoying bitches who can eat whatever and not gain weight. I sure hope so. :p
 
Hey, anyone remember Tamagotchi? I exchanged Xmas gifts with my best friend last night and she gave me an old school Tamagotchi like I had in grade 6 or 7, just for old times' sake. It's awesome! Haha
 
It's pretty freaking cool! But the damn thing keeps getting sick and I have to give it medicine a lot. Hahaha.

I'm so exhausted... My roommates and I have been doing some hardcore cleaning before we go home for the holidays. Serious cleaning! Mainly because I'm an OCD case and always feel like the apartment is really dirty when I come back after being gone for a long time. The annoying part is that Laura's cousin and her two little girls will be in town for a few days over the holidays and need a place to stay. Since none of us will be here, we offered her our place. So we've had to make sure to hide every questionable item (ie. alcohol, lingerie, sex toys, etc) since you can never be sure that children won't go exploring and we would like to spare their mother the trouble of coming up with creative stories to explain these things. Not to mention, we don't want to be responsible for a little kid ingesting something dangerous. Anyway, it's been a long day. And it continues tomorrow...
 
So the CAD is/was higher valued than the USD. That's gotta be a first. You don't seem any smugger for it either, eh !!

someone gave me one years ago -and it reallt drove home the fact I was irresponsible -i couldn't keep the thing alive to save myself :)

I'm doing alright with mine so far. But it's gonna drive me nuts pretty soon. I find it odd that you can't bring the thing to the toilet. You have to wait til it shits on the floor and then clean it up. Disturbing???
