Thanks for all the good study wishes, everyone! The big day is exactly one week from today... *shudders* To be honest, I don't think I'm going to care whether I did good or bad, as long as it's over. I've been unbelieveably busy with work and studying. I had to work extra shifts again because of various crap, but my last shift is tomorrow! Yay!
I don't have time to hit diaries right now. Sorry everyone. I'll be my diary-hittin self again in a week. :)

BTW Blancita - I'm studying Nursing right now.
 
The diaries should be the last thing on your mind. Take care of yourself. I'm glad work is winding down. I know you say you don't care, but we'll still all be pulling for you.

Sorry I haven't written for a while. Wasn't very active for a while. But Alex and I are back together and he is a good influence on me. I am actually happy to be with him. We are getting along so well. We have grown together.

But anyway good luck hun. I know you will kick some a&&!
Keep up the good work. And one of the last poster was right, writing in diaries should be the furthest from your minds when you think about the studying you have had to do. Studying and taking care of yourself is more important.

It's good to be back! It's been waaaaay too long! Thanks for all the well-wishes, everyone.
I left the day after the MCAT to go visit my parents for a week, so that's why I was absent for a week longer than expected. But I'm back now and quite happy about it. :)
The MCAT seemed to go better than I expected it would. But, who knows? I might get my mark back and realize it was truly terrible. But whatever! My marks come out on September 19, tentatively. So we'll see then.
I got up and ready to go to the gym this morning. Then I thought, I've been away for a week so I should check the website and make sure it's not closed for any events or anything. Turns out it's closed until Monday because electricians are in to work on the wiring. So shit on that! It's a nice day though, so I'll go for a walk/run.
Sadly, my weight refuses to budge. I guess I shouldn't say it like that because that implies that I've been trying hard to make it budge... which I haven't. I haven't gotten a real good workout in 2 weeks and I ate a lot while I was home this week. I'm hoping that I'll get back on track this week and the weight will start falling off. Wouldn't that be lovely? ;)
Well, I'm off. I have a hundred thousand diaries to visit, so I'd better get crackin!
 
Hey, thanks for including mine in the 100,000. I think the weight not budging is a good thing. Going through a stressful period, visiting the parental units, getting off your schedule--all those things can add a lot of weight. If you're still holding steady you're doing something right :). I'm sure you did great on the MCAT.

glad to have you back. As for the MCATs, good on you for pushing through and studying your arse off. I'm sure your marks will be just fine. As for the pix... you look great!! Also, that dress is wicked hot. hahaa Wow... it's amazing how most of you girls on this forum hold your weight so well. Hmmm... how tall are you if you don't mind me asking, because you honestly, look like you weigh less.

Haha. Thanks a lot. :D I really do love that dress. I got it dirt cheap too! I'm almost 5"6" about a quarter inch off maybe. Not real tall, but certainly not a shorty. If you wonder where all the weight is hiding, take a look at the pic of me a Steph where you get a little peek at the horse legs. My knees might be chubby, but the rest of my leg is just huge. I have very muscular legs, so they probably weigh a ton. I was always very ashamed of them, but not so much anymore.
 
My friend's birthday partay is tonight, so celebrations are in order. George Street will be involved. I'm gonna limit myself by saying NO beer, NO wine and NO liqueurs. Just good ol' rum & diet coke. That's about as low-cal as you can go, when it comes to booze. My friends keep telling me to switch to light beer, but god damnit, I'm a Newfie! It's simply a change I cannot make.

Speaking of celebrations... Matt comes home in 6 days! *bow chicka bow wowwww* I've already got my dirty little ensemble picked out for when he walks in the door. lol Forgive me if I disappear again for a few days. I'm hoping I'll be quite busy. ;)

It's time to start posting my foods again. It's one thing that always works to help me stay on track and lose weight. I don't know why I stop doing it. From now on, someone kick my ass when I don't post my foods.

Breakfast
Bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds w/ skim milk, blueberry muffin, glass of apple juice

Lunch

Garden salad w/ 1 1/2 tbsp calorie wise Catalina dressing, slice of smoked chicken breast, bowl of grapes

Supper
Grilled prawns, grilled onions & peppers, corn on the cob

Snacks
1. Banana
2. Apple
3. Blueberry lemonade & an oatmeal cookie from Starbucks

;) Hey Sunnydee!! Long time, no chat. I was also MIA for a few days. I didn't go visit my family, I just didn't feel like getting on the computer during my weekend (I work on a computer, lol). Sorry your weight refuses to budge. At least it isn't going up? Right? Rum and diet coke is the death of me. I have a hard time choking down rum, I got sick on it too many times when I first started to drink. You know how everyone has that one liquor they can't stand, or gets them into trouble. Mine is rum I guess. I drank some last Tues. night when I went out to watch an old friend perform at the huka bar. Anyways, I didn't get sick but, I had a hangover/headache the next day and couldn't drink diet coke for two days just because I smelt rum whenever I tried to drink it... It seems like a pretty safe drink, calorie wise, if you don't drink the spiced rum that we were drinking... I was celebrating, dammit. That was the day that I found out I had lost 15lbs more!!! It was a total surprise and made my day, month and probably whole summer. Now that i am 30lbs. down or so I really believe the weight is coming off. It's so exciting. So by the beginning of next year, I could be at my goal! Holy shit! :):):)

You know how everyone has that one liquor they can't stand, or gets them into trouble.
Umm.... yeah! I couldn't drink coke or rum for about 6 months after I had a REALLY bad experience. But now I'm fine again. But one drink that always gets me into trouble is Sex on the Beach. I guess it's because they don't taste alcoholic at all, but there's a nice bit of vodka and peach schnapps in there! Everytime that I've made that my drink of the night, I've gotten sick. So now I just make it without peach schnapps and call it "Heavy Petting on the Beach". Much safer!

Now you are in the 150s! I hope that will be me some day.
It kind sucks being stuck in the 150s when I wanna be at 145 though. But I shouldn't complain, being so close to my goal. You're doing great! You'll be in the 150s before you know it.

The two liquors that I can't stand are rum and Jack Daniels. I love Scotch, but I don't like whiskey. I hope you had a good time Sunny. I did and I mostly behaved myself.
 
Oooh... great time last night! And a little weird. I think time slowed down or something. At one point, I looked at the clock and realized I'd only been at the party for 2 hours, but it felt like 5 and it freaked me out! Big time! I kept thinking there was no way that all the stuff that had happened throughout the night could have possibly fit into 2 hours. It was bizarre! I'm still freaked out by it. Anyway, I'm feeling fine this morning, just a little parched.
I'd really like to go to the gym. It reopens tomorrow. I suppose I'll just do some TaeBo in the living room today. I definitely need some sort of a workout. Then I'll probably spend the rest of the day watching movies. I literally have nothing to do today!

Good for you on TaeBo in the living room - I'm feeling a little sore from the gym yesterday and have decided that I need a day off the exercise! I'll be back with a vengeance tomorrow though. Those scales have to move this week!!

I'm sure you'll burn off some of those calories when Matt arrives ;)
