Yeah, we had a few warmer days this week and some of the snow melted. Unfortunately, that just makes it messier, heavier, and way harder to shovel.
 
Congrats on the dress and meeting your goal by the end of February!! That's awesome news. Keep up the great work and don't study too much!
 
Arrrghhh... I was all excited about the nursing ball, and now one of the girls who was gonna share a hotelroom with us after the ball says she can't, which leaves it too expensive for the rest of us. What a piss off! I was really looking forward to an all-nighter with my nursing girls.

That totally sucks! I wasn't in nursing in college, but my best friend and roomate both were. I generally spent more time, and partied harder, with the nursing girls then I did with my rec group!

Last night we had a huge snow storm with freezing rain. Luckily my nice new neighbour was kind enough to blow out our driveway (hubby was still at work). Even with 4wd, I don't know if I would have made it out this morning. Bring on spring!

Thanks for visiting my diary Sunny. Don't let one person cancelling ruin your entire night. Even though you won't be able to stay over night at the hotel, you can still have a great time with your friends. Forget about this little set back and party like a rockstar at your nursing ball.

Yeah, us nurses are more fun than a barrell of monkeys (whatever that means!) :D Sorry to hear about all the snow. Looks like a lot of the country got hit pretty hard. Oh Canada, our home and native land. *sigh*

Thanks Funky. We actually decided to go ahead and get the hotelroom anyway. We may get another person afterall. But even if we don't, we're just gonna go for. We figure we've been looking forward to this all year, we're not gonna let it get spoiled. I can't wait!

I'm doing some cleaning tonight. Pretty lame way to spend a friday night, but I'm gonna have a busy weekend so I won't have time to get it done. So I'm just stopping in quickly to update for today.

Breakfast: Special K Red Berries w/ skim milk, glass of cranberry juice
Lunch: Lean Cuisine meat lasagna
Snack: Apple
Supper: Garlic shrimp stir-fry
Snack: Granola bar

I don't think I'll do TaeBo tonight. I might go for a walk with my boy instead.
 
No more housework... please! Is it strange that doing housework makes my back muscles sore, but sports & exercise doesn't? I wonder if I'm bending badly when I'm cleaning.

Hahaha. The ball was fantastic! Couldn't have been better. Maybe I'll post some pics soon. I didn't bring my camera, but my friends did so when they send me the pics, I'll try to post a couple.
 
My virtual model is so fun to play with. You're model won't look exactly like you, but it will have similar features and the best part of the whole thing, is the side-by-side comparison they give you once you're done modifying it. You can compare what you looked like before to your current weight, and then check out your "future" self all at the click of a button. I had a lot of fun with that thing. Hopefully you will too.

I just made one! Her body shape is actually very similar to mine, except that she has thinner calves and a chubbier tummy. My calves are really big and I have a fairly flat tummy except for a little pouch of fat just around my belly button. I tried adjusting the figure down to get rid of the belly bulge, but then she looks too small all over. I played around with her quite a bit and have concluded that I'm gonna look great when I reach my goal in a few months! :D For anyone who is wondering, the virtual model we're talking about is one you can make at prevention.com. You can find the right style of swimsuit by using her, which is pretty cool. I got the idea from funkyphantom's diary. Thanks for that, funky!

has a bunch of differnent vendors that you can use - the levi strauss on is the one i've been using becuse it looked themost like me -the prevention one is too belly heavy and skinny legs :)

it's fun motivation..
