SunnyDee's Diary

I can't believe I had to go 3 pages back to find the diary of an online poster!

Geesh - what IS this world coming to?

Yum the pizza sounds great I think I'll give it a try! Good job on the weight loss!!;)
Yeah, it's a fantastic pizza. It's a President's Choice one from Dominion. Do you guys have Dominion?

Everybody's losing stamina. And then I ran off. I am ashamed.

I have a ridiculous amount of school work this week. It's unfit, I swear. So there was no exercise for me today. I realized I haven't been putting my exercise in here in the past little while. It's mostly consisted of walking and tae-bo, along with crunches and push-ups. I do the girly push-ups because the other one's tire me out too fast. Again, I am ashamed.
I don't do the FitDay thing, as most of you know. The cal thing has been weighing heavy on my mind, but I still can't bear to go and screw around with that calculator. Today I estimated using package info and common sense and have estimated that I've eaten about 975 cals today!!! It really pisses me off because I feel like I'm doing well. I feel satisfied, I'm eating every few hours. But the number is just too low. *sigh* I'll have to watch more carefully I guess.

Breakfast: 2 slices whole wheat toast w/ margarine & apple-strawberry spread and pineapple peach mango juice (~320 cals)
Lunch: 2 slices chicken & red pepper pizza (250 cals)
Snack: 1 slice whole wheat bread w/ low-fat peanut butter (155 cals)
Supper: Linguine w/ shrimp marinara sauce (~250 cals)

I know I ate a lot of bread today. Ihaven't been eating it and it's soon gonna go mouldy on me. Haha I'm trying to get rid of most of it before that happens.

Moldy Bread.........when it turns green and has that funk smell......yeah eat it before it goes there!!!
I have not done the Billy Blanks ass kicker in a couple weeks, i have been hitting the treadmill on incline........but i think i'll put old Bill back to work!!!
enjoy your day girl and remember to drink your water too!!!!
later gator!!

I don't get it... I posted in my diary yesterday and for some reason it didn't show up in here! That's weeeeeeeird. Anyway, the entry in a nutshell was that I ate 1200 cals, which was a little better than the day before, but still not good enough. I also said that I planned on eating the same amount today and then bumping it up over the weekend. Oh, and I addressed Star's post by saying that Billy Blanks is frightening when he talks into the camera as though he's talking directly to me and that I do drink lots of water, I just don't post it with my foods.

Quick post

It's happened to you too? It's weird! I hope it doesn't happen anymore...

Anyway, I just realized I've spent too much time on here this evening, considering I have a test tomorrow and I need to finish studying. So I won't post my foods in detail. I managed to get 1250 cals again today. I went for a fantastic, relaxing walk last night and hit the gym this afternoon. Matt and I are going out for supper tomorrow night (Late V-Day celebration), so wish me luck! Also, midterm break starts tomorrow and I'm going home with my parents til Thursday, which means tons of good food... Wish me even more luck with that! MUST STUDY.

Hey Dee,

I must apologize for not being a good pal. You always visit me and this is the first time I've stopped in to see you. Keep up the good work.

Have a good weekend.

No worries, girl! I appreciate you anyway! Thanks for stopping by. Come back again anytime. haha

Well, everybody... It's officially midterm break! I'm heading off for 5 days in the morning. Going to visit my parents! I'm excited. So I probably won't be posting everyday. I hate my dad's computer with a passion. It's sooooo slow and I'm spoiled because mine is a million times faster than his. lol But I'll try to put up with it long enough to post a couple of times. Have a great weekend!

Dee

Yeah, I must admit I didn't do very well at resisting anything! But luckily, my Mom cooked good food, so I didn't feel guilty for the most part.

Hope you enjoy your break. I use to love the mid-term break in Feb, because it meant the school year was almost over!!

I know what you mean. I can't wait for this semester to be over! Just a little less than 2 months! Eeeek!

I had a great midterm break! I kept up on my exercises. I went for a walk, a hike and did Tae-Bo once, plus I did abs/pushups/stretches every night except one. It was a good thing I kept up the physical activity because I ate more than I would have if I was here. Like I said, Mom cooked mostly good stuff - turkey, moose, veggies, soup... nothing to feel guilty about. EXCEPT... my parents had a dinner party Friday night, which means they had made desserts and there were lots left over when I got there on Saturday. So I picked at cookies throughout the weekend. I'll have to make up for it this week, that's for sure.

I was somewhere between 161-162 when I weighed myself at home, but I'm going to wait and weigh myself on Matt's scale before I change anything.

Glad to hear you had a good time at home. I'm sure your weigh-in will be fine. I always find that no matter how healthy moms cook, there is always something devilishly good (I mean bad) lurking. Good job keeping up on your exercise.

Welcome back!

Thanks everyone :) I think I'm gonna hold off on the weigh-in until Monday. It might not go so well, since I'm currently finishing off a little bag of Hershey's Kissables  lol
1 package (42g) = 210 cals and 10 g fat
YIKES. 10 g of fat in a TINY little package. I knew the Valentine's chocolates would find their way to me somehow. This time it was by way of a Valentine's Day package from my sister in Ontario. Thanks a lot, sis.

Yummy.... kisses!

I'd tell you to get her to send them to me, but that would help me any. Have a great weekend. I'm sure you'll do fine on Monday.

Back in the swing of things

This past week has just been a blur, so it's been impossible to keep track of my foods and stuff. But now that I'm back in town and all my mid-terms are over ("Hallelujah Chorus" starts playing in the background), I can get back to my usual diary routine!
I didn't get any exercise in yesterday. I don't feel the slightest bit guilty... I spent 7 hours on the road and then studied for the rest of the evening. I think I deserved to be a lazy ass for one night  I got a very brief walk in today, but nothing substantial, so I'll head out for another short one later, plus my abs/pushups/stretching. I've decided to incorporate that little combo into my home workout as well. I always do ab-training and stretching at the gym, but I didn't at home (except for stretching after TaeBo or TurboJam.) The home routine I've adopted consists of 100 front crunches, 20-30 front crunches with leg curls, 35-50 crunches on each side, 30 "cheater" pushups, and full-body stretches for about 10 mins. I'm aiming for doing that at least 3 times per week.

Food for today goes like this:
Breakfast: Special K Red Berries w/ skim milk and pineapple peach mango juice (~330 cals)
Snack: Peach yogurt (50 cals)
Lunch: 1 palm-sized serving of Monzetti (it's my mom and her friends' modified version of Marzetti. Don't ask. All you need to know is it's delicious.) (~380 cals)
Snack: 4 chocolates (220 cals. YIKES!)
Supper: Bowl of chili (450 cals)
TOTAL: 1430 cals! That's much better. I'm sure some of those cals weren't exactly the best choice (ie. chocolates), but it's still comforting to see such a healthy number compared to the days I discovered I was eating like 1000 calories!!
