Yeah, my brain feels all crazy now. Unfortunately, I have 2 papers due this week so I can't relax much.

I was a very bad girl today. We'll definitely be calling this one an "off-day". We had a major snowstorm over night, so my friend and I were snowed in together at my place all day. We decided to stay in our pjs, watch old episodes of Friends, and order a pizza. :confused: So it was not a healthy day.
Breakfast: Granola cereal w/ skim milk (280 cals)
Lunch: 2 slices of pizza and 1.5 glasses of Pepsi (~740 cals)
Supper: 2.5 slices of pizza (~610 cals)
TOTAL: 1630

I'm not about to fret too much about 1630 cals. That's still plenty low. BUT they were almost entirely bad calories, except for breakfast. I feel crappy about putting all that junk in my body. I'll have a lot of making up to do this weekend. It's starting to feel like my zeal is wearing off and it's getting harder to stay focused. Thanks for all your support, everybody. I couldn't do it without you. Keep it coming and keep your fingers crossed for my weigh-in on Monday.

Great to see a fellow college student on this board. I know how it can be when you get so busy with school work that you don't have to eat right. Don't let it get to you too much. At least you only took in 1630 calories as opposed to 3000 calories. One bad day shouldn't be enough to undue all of the good strides you've made. Just keep at it, you're doing a good job.
 
Sunnydee, listen to funkyphantom! 1630 is that bad!!! Today is a new day! I'm glad your mid-terms are over. That is something that my professors aren't really giving me this semester. I'm only taking 2 classes, but one professor is giving 3 take home tests(she calls exams) and 1 in class and the other is only giving 2 writing projects so I lucked out.. or did I? hehehe.

Stressful day!

Aww... thanks so much, ladies! your support means a lot. Like I said, I'm not upset about the fact that I ate 1630 cals, I don't think that's a lot at all. I'm just upset that I ate so much crap that was bad for me. But I'm over it. I'm feeling much better today.

This has been one stressful day. I had to finish a paper that's due tomorrow, plus try to get on top of one that's due on Tuesday. It's not a tough paper, but I don't have much time to work on it tomorrow because I'm going to see Barenaked Ladies tomorrow night!!! AHHH! Can't wait. :D :D :D

So, here's my food for today:
Breakfast: Special K Red Berries w/ skim milk (~210 cals)
Snack: Bread roll w/ margarine (87 cals)
Lunch: Palm-sized serving of monzetti & small glass of Pepsi (450 cals)
Supper: 5 cod nuggets w/ ketchup (316 cals)
TOTAL: 1083 cals. Crappy total again. I swear I'll get that number up tomorrow.

Update for yesterday

This is actually an entry for yesterday. I didn't have time to post yesterday because as soon as I came home from school I had to finish a paper and then get ready and go the the concert!!! Which was the best concert ever!! I had a blast. BNL was in-freaking-credible. They're actually better live than they are recorded. I love them so much! I can now cross that off the list of things to do before I die. Seeing them was quite close to the top.

I got in 40 mins of walking yesterday, but my food was sort of crappy because I was in such a mad rush all day.
Breakfast: Special K Red Berries w/ skim milk
Lunch: Mac & Cheese (microwaveable)
Supper: Chicken wings and pita triangles in Mexican dip

Monday came and went and I forgot to weigh myself! So I'll just weigh tomorrow and call it my February summary. I can't believe it's almost March already. I'll be back with today's foods later.

Cardio today was a whopping zero. Will be getting my toning in before bed tonight. Oooh! I have cool news and I can't believe I forgot to mention it already. The annual nursing charity ball is this weekend. So while I was visiting Mom & Dad, I decided to try on my high school grad dress just to see if I could possibly wear it to the ball. It fits perfectly! :D That freaks me out so much because when I look at pics from my grad, I think "Man, I was hot then. I'd kill for that body now." So this is a good indicator that I'm on my way to looking like that again. Yay me :p

Breakfast: Granola w/ skim milk
Snack: Mixed fruit (apple, melon, grapes) dipped in vanilla yogurt
Lunch: 1/2 bowl of chili
Supper: Low-fat peanut butter sandwich on whole wheat

I tried on a bunch of clothes last week too, to see how they looked and felt. Some good, some interesting........... My husband quite enjoyed the show.

I just wrote a post and it didn't appear. I'm not sure what happened. Anyway, I lost it so I hae to write another. :mad: I'm completely and utterly exhausted today (at least I was until I came into my diary and was reminded of my goregous dress and what a great time I'm going to have this weekend!). I have a killer headache, which is definitely a result of working myself to death ever since I came back in town on Thursday. Anyway, no more assignments this week, so tonight I am doing NOTHING school related, I swear to God. I'm going to relax, do some TaeBo and toning, get a shower, go to bed. Sounds perfect.

Ate well today, despite my crappiness. LOVING this chicken & red pepper pizza... 125 cals/3.5 g fat per slice. And it really is delicious.
Breakfast: Raisin & almond granola w/ skim milk & orange juice (420 cals)
Snack: Clementine & a chocolate chip cookie (107 cals)
Lunch: Chili (320 cals)
Supper: 3 slices chicken & red pepper pizza & lemonade (475 cals)
TOTAL: 1322 cals
 
Almost forgot! Weighed in this morning and the official end-of-February number is 161.8
So I have successfully achieved/maintained my goal of a total loss of 6-10 lbs by the end of Feb :D Hoping to be down another 3-5 lbs by the end of March!
 
First day of March!

Can't believe it... Only 1 month and 4 days until classes end. Then another week and finals are over. CRAZINESS. I'm very much looking forward to it.
Since it's the first day of March, it's my first official day of trying to lose another 3-5 lbs. I'm debating whether or not I'm going to do TaeBo and my abs/pushups/stretches (which I will call "My Personal Combo" from now on). I did it last night and intended to do it every day until Sunday, but I just came in from an hour of shoveling snow. No, we didn't get any more snow. What happened was this: While I was out of town, we had a storm and got about 40 cm of snow. My roommate didn't shovel, then the snow hardened... Then I got back and we got another 20 cm on top of the hardened icy mess. We managed to shovel out a walking path, but that was it. So tonight I decided I would go shovel the whole thing. But I left the pile the plow left at the end of the driveway for her to take care of. My arms and hands are now jello. I'm gonna feel this tomorrow. :eek: But oddly enough, I'm still in the mood for TaeBo. So I may just wind down for a few mins and then go do some.

Not gonna bother to total my cals today because the stir-fry will be too complicated to add up. Anyway, I'm positive it had to be more than 1400 but not more than 1700, so I'm cool with it.
Breakfast: 2 slices multigrain toast w/ cheese whiz, 1/2 plum, glass of skim milk
Lunch: Low-fat PB sandwich on whole wheat, glass of lemonade, apple
Snack: Banana
Supper: Garlic shrimp stir-fry on white rice
