Hey guys! New here.. I've been struggling with my weight since my elementary school days. I've tried more times than I count to "get down" to a healthy weight. Usually I go for two weeks and then stop. I don't even know why.. But this time has to be different. I'm 18 and too young to be this overweight. I've still got a lot of muscle from when I swam Freshman year of high school. But I weight 205-ish lbs. It's really frustrating though. I've worked out almost every day (minus a few days off) for the past two weeks. My mom says she notices a difference, and I feel better (that's just exercize for you) but I can't tell.. and the scale is going up. I have to do it this time. I can't fail. What keeps you guys going? When you don't want to go.. what gives you that extra push?

and this is me Freshman year. It's hard to believe that I gained 40lbs in four years.. I'm sick of this. I'm doing well, going everday. But I need a way to make sure I stick with it.

Thanks guys :) I'm so excited already. My clothes are baggier, but not baggy enough to go out and buy new clothes which sorta sucks. But I'll give it a few weeks. Thank you guys so much :D

have you checked out the diary section of the forum? It's a great place for you to keep track of what you have been doing, how you are feeling, your thoughts/opinions, and just to talk to the other posters. Browse around some of the other online diaries/journals. You will find out what all of us are doing to stay motivated.

Good Luck!

Jenny
