Ooo, exciting! Enjoy Spain and enjoy the family time.
Thank you! I'm super excited :hurray:

I weighed in this morning and despite bingeing for a week in between, I have lost 5lbs overall since joining this forum on March 3rd, and am now at my lowest weight ever! Not sure how that happened, but I think regular gym sessions and drinking buckets of green tea has helped. I Also think my big weight influxes whilst I was bingeing must have mostly been bloat! I'm really really pleased, and feel in a great headspace for Spain tomorrow!

I haven't been super strict with my calories the last two days, and haven't felt hungry at all and have been
enjoying healthy food, yay yay yay! :)

First day of holiday: We flew from the UK to Gibraltar, and its amazing! The landing strip is effectively in the sea, so was super glad I had a window seat :) We're staying in la linia, in Spain just the other side of the boarder, and it's lovely to be warm and in the sun.
Was slightly stressful as my final deadlines for my essays are tomorrow, I submitted one at Heathrow Airport and still need to proof read the other to hand in tonight. But it's hard to be too stressed when you're on holiday!

Food log:13 days until the Philippines- feeling so blessed to be me, right now.

Breakfast: bowl of oats, a few bits of granola, with hemp milk

Lunch: Refused to spend £10+ pounds for food at the airport... Perkier bar - 157 cals, and a banana-110 cals.

Dinner: An amazing salad-with Japanese style agae/seaweed, shredded red cabbage, shredded carrots, and seared tuna, in a delicious dressing.

I've noticed recently that if I don't eat much at the moment I get cold, have blue fingernails and have blue lips :/

Decided to have 25g of dark chocolate-132 cals, a chocolate covered blueberry and a chocolate covered almond (my mum's vegan and we found loads of accidentally vegan treats-vegans for the win!!).

Not sure on the cals, but am happy to be eating mainly healthy food, with a small portion of tastey treats!

Stepcount: 10,652 steps (8:30pm)

That would be your body trying to conserve energy to avoid losing its precious fat reserves.
:/ that doesn't sound good... Ive been trying to Google it, but nothings come up- but that kinda makes sense.

I feel like I haven't been cutting calories at an extreme level, so will have to keep an eye on that... The weirdest part is that it just creeps up on me, there aren't any hunger pangs, I just suddenly notice it...

Ahh, Spain. I'm just a bit envious. That's somewhere I have not been, but would love to go. Lucky, lucky you. Enjoy :)
Re: blue lips etc-Try to think of food as being fuel & always have something with you. Nuts are always good to have in your bag. I have unsalted, raw almonds. If you are not consuming sufficient fuel, the lack of caloric and nutritional intake can affect your body's ability to carry out normal functions, such as maintaining body temperature. Feeling cold can also be a sign of anaemia, so that is worth getting checked when you get a chance.
Have lots of fun, relax & let us live vicariously through your adventures. Cheers, Cate.

Spent the day in Gibraltar before heading to Cadiz, was THE MOST AMAZING DAY! We went on a boat tour, and saw a huge pod of dolphins which swam up to the boat-including baby dolphins. Explored Gibraltar Rock-saw loads of monkeys, caves and walked across a suspension bridge. The weather forecast said that it would rain but we had brilliant sunshine all day! The weather was so good that we could see the neighbouring continent of Africa (Morocco)-so cool!

Food log:12 days until the Philippines
Breakfast: small baguette with a drizzle of olive oil, and fresh salsa (tomato and garlic), a latte, and a fresh orange juice.

Lunch: small bowl of veg soup (Moroccan inspired-super delicious), with a small baguette.

Dinner: starter:fresh bruschetta, main: Goats cheese salad, with tomatoes, green olives, green peppers, pine nuts and a sweet balsamic glaze as dressing.

Pudding: just over half a shot of lemoncello, and large-ish square of Moroccan baklava (super sweet almond chunks which tasted of fresh marzipan!)

If anything, I had slightly too much bread today but am hoping all the walking will have helped burn it off- am planning on having a light breakfast tomorrow :) I may also try to stop drinking calories this holiday-other than a coffee a day. I don't really enjoy drinking alcohol at the moment, and I think it will cut out alot of unnecessary sugars, e.g. Juices...

Stepcount: 22,452 steps/15.2 km!
Projected calories burnt: 2485 cals
