Stuck at the same weight!

Weight loss

I think you are just doing fine Ur exercise and diet seems to be fine. But sometimes it takes time for some to loose weight. Sometimes for some of them it takes time and some have instant result. Just be patient enough to wait for the result.

Hi.

Loads of great advice here. Not sure if this was covered already, but in terms of your training, are you doing progressively more, or have you trained at the same intensity/time etc throughout.

Body adaptation can seriously reduce training effectiveness if you dont work through a progressive programme.

Aside from that, great job so far. You may be on a plateau at the moment, but if you progress your training, maintain a sensible diet, you will soon start moving again.

Cheers,
Steve

This may sound weird, but somewhere im my mind, ive prepared myself to fail and this may be a huge obstacle and i blame the years of yoyo dieting for that mentality!

That doesn't sound weird at all, but let me ask you...do you think you have a habit of thinking about things in an "all or nothing" way?
I personally had that problem for many years, and even though I have gotten considerably better with that mentality in recent years, it's an on-going struggle to keep it under control. But the "all or nothing" mentality usually goes hand-in-hand with "preparing yourself to fail." Either way, the best thing that I have done for myself that has helped me change my bad thinking habits is using cognitive behavioral therapy. For example, if I couldn't make it to the gym for at least an hour to an hour in a half, I wouldn't bother going. When you start paying more attention to these behaviors as they are happening, you can recognize them, and reason with yourself in your conscious mind basically calling out your behavior for what it really is. Once you do that, you start to gain more control over yourself, and in my case I started saying to myself, "ok, I can't do an hour at the gym today, but even a 15 minute walk is better than nothing, so instead of doing nothing, I'm going to at least do that"...and then I would find myself going on that 15 min walk. And as time goes on, it gets easier and easier. Hope this helps!
