Stuck at 165 Considering Thermogenic Or Sometype Of Fat Burner

Well I was on a fat loss roll for about 5 months I went from 190 to what I am now at 165-166, well for the past month I havent been able to go down in weight at all. I am eating the same I work out the same as always, I only change up my weight training routine, Yet I have been stuck for a while. I am 5'4 I want to get to atleast 140-145 by summer so about 20lbs less than what I am at now. I am really considering a Thermogenic, Or sometype of fat burner. Can anyone suggest one please? Ive read all around the forum how to troubleshoot my diet and my work outs, I feal I am doing everything correct, I feal as if I just need a Boost.
 
You don't need that crap, you've just hit a plateau and we can help you get past it.

What would you say your activity factor is?

Light training/sports 3 days a week
Average training/sports 3-5 days a week
Heavy training/sports 6-7 days a week

Post in exact detail what you're eating daily and at what time you're eating it, and we want exact nutrional data (carbs protein fats, the works).

Also, how old are you and do you know your fat percentage?
 
Fat Burners are useless. If you feel that you are straight with your diet, and you are exercising, a lot of the time you just need to switch things up. Your body builds a tolerance over time when you lift/cardio. If you do the same thing all the time its not going to be as effective.

Do what Xenth said, and everyone can help you by the plateau.

Thanks guys well, For breakfast I eat A yogurt at about 90 cals, with a protein shake, about 110Cals mixed with water, I do this at 8:30 am at around 1:30 pm I eat a Chicken salad Or eather a Chicken, Tuna, Or Turkey Sandwich about 200 Cals. By this time I already have drank half a gallon or more of water at 3:30, I eat an orange and Drink a Energy drink then Im off to school I get out of school at 10:30 eat a sallad and go to sleep. Is eating so late not helping me? I heard its not the healthyest thing to do since you just sleep while after.

Working out
Mon,Wed,Fri:I do 20 minutes on the cardio bike of HIIT
Tues,Thurs,Sun: Is Full Body Lifting Routine
Saturday: Day Off

Well I Have some snacks in between Meals alot of oranges and bananas but other than that, thats all I eat. Pretty much all I can eat with work during the day and school during the night. So should I eat more? I though I might have been eating too much
 
Get some sugar free/fat free yogurt if you are going to eat yogurt, toss in some fruit, I even throw a little protein powder in there. I see no veggies, eat some! A lot!

If you got school/work, get a cooler for for your car and toss a sandwich in there or something. Eat it in the car, on break, between class, whatever.

Try to compose a full list like Xenth said though, even what snacks you eat, what you drink, when you workout, ect. Along with estimated times.

Also what kind of bread are you eating?

You obviously haven't read the sticky threads or you would know your diet is incorrect. Read the stuck threads at the top, ALL the way through and then after that go eat something. :)
 
i totally agree with theleip...your diet sucks...not enough food from the looks of it...mainly because you're not eating 5-6 times a day.

my guess is you lost a fair amount of lean muscle mass along with the fat. now you have less muscle, so you require fewer calories to maintain your current weight, so your weight stays the same.

I would also say sandwiches are a bad choice for fat loss. WAY too carb heavy, and carbs are pretty much the thing you need to restrict to diet effectively. some people have a really poor tolerance for carbs to begin with.
And no matter how you slice it, bread is a processed carb. whole grain means "hey, I can see the actual grain!"...oatmeal, rice, barley...not flour that once resembled whole oats.

all that processing changes how your body is going to handle the bread vs. how it would handle cooked whole oats.
 
Ok so i graduated from school so Im going to get back on my weight loss goal. Im still at 165, Im taking breads away from my meals so no more breads, I am eating enough now or so I hope, 6 small meals a day a gallon on water to two gallons of water per day, and I have been working out pretty hard on my cardio I work out 4-5 days a week doing "The Pit" work out wich is just alot of cardio muay thai and all in all is a Full body work out.3 times a week, I do weights. What Im trying to go for is not a six pack yet because I know thats gonna take me a while, But Im trying to go for a flatter stomach for the summer I wanna try to lose atleast 15 lbs by, mid May or Early June, I think my goals are realistic what do you guys think?
