Strength loss and muscle gain

Okay so i recently took about 6 weeks of of lifting due to vacation, and the fact that I was working 65 hours a week biking basically, and I just this week went back to lifting. I have decided to start about a 32 week bulk, and noticed on my first 3 lifting days that I have lost about 30lbs on all of my heavy compounds i.e squat,dl, and bench. My question is, as long as im still progressing up in weights, will I still gain muscle mass as long as im eating in a surplus or will I have to wait for myself to get back to the level of strength that I was at before?

Sorry for the weird question

So long as you did maintain at least enough calories to maintain weight, and a respectable protein intake, and didn't lay in bed the whole time, than most of your loss should be on the neurological side of things. Neuromuscular efficiency falls long before any major "physical" decline.

^-- what he said

I got bronchitis in april and as a result took a month off from running. I was going 7km in 35 mins before I quit, and doing it without much trouble. Once i got back on I would go 3km in 20 minutes and quit. Felt like I couldn't do it etc. You just gotta get used to pushing yourself and focusing and such again, that's probably all you've lost.
