Storm Girl's Diary

I burst out giggling like a fool every time I see Stitch! OMG I LOVE STITCH

Stitch is someone (YES, he is REAL) that I can identify with. I love him soooooooooo MUCH.

I wonder what kind of workout Stitch would put us through? Perhaps one that involved Elvis workout music? Hee, hee...

Hugs,
Vanessa

thanks for replying to my post. :)

also, I just thought Id mention that I love Lilo & Stitch more than anything, even though its rather childish. haha, my best friend is 22 and she got me really into it, I own 3 of the 4 movies. haha.

Okay, I know its weird.. but yeah, nice signature picture, haha.

xo !

stitch.

OMG ! :)

I just saw some of your posts regarding Stitch.

He is the love of my life !

"O'hana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind, or forgotten."

"This is my family. It may be little, and broken, but its good. Yeah, still good."

:) I should watch that tonight, haha.

Oh, it is NOT childish! Stitch is the most awesome creation! I love him soooooooooooooooooooooo MUCH. (There is actually a deep story as to why - but I will save you the time.)

Consider yourself my "O'Hana!"

Vanessa

PS: I cried when I watched "Stitch Has a Glitch." I seriously did and my 8 year old was laughing at me!

Okay... So, I don't have another session with my PT until tomorrow morning. However, I found myself up and dressed in workout gear by 7:30 am today! I did some crunches (hate them!) and went on a long walk.

I just have to say that I love my heart monitor soooo much! This thing is so cool! It tells me when to pick up the pace and when to slow down - allowing me to stay in my zone.

So far I am feeling pretty motivated. I just hope it stays that way! Ugh...

Again, I love all of you!!!!!

Hugs,
Vanessa

..

Its okay that you cried, haha, I almost did.

My best friend who is 22 is the one who got me into Lilo and Stitch because one day at work she randomly mentioned that I reminded her of Lilo because of the way I say certain things, and how I look I guess? At first I was slightly offended, but not so much anymore. She forced me to watch it with her and Ive loved it ever since! She has a stuffed stitch too, I want it :)

And about crying during Stitch has a Glitch.. thats not so bad. The friend I told you about, her boyfriend watched it with her, (he's 32 years old) and she said she swears she saw tears in his eyes. haha..

so yeah. Thats nothing, it really was a sad movie. haha.

The session with my PT on Friday (yesterday) was the hardest yet. There was actually a moment where I thought to myself, "Forget this!" No, I wouldn't really give up. However, when your body is shaking from the workout you tend to have brief moments of insanity. Can I get an "Amen" from somebody?

I worked out by myself for one hour this morning. My PT told me that it takes 20 minutes of working ot before you actually begin to burn body fat. With that in my mind I worked out an entire hour, just as I do with him.

By the way... Do NOT weigh yourself every day. It will drive you crazy and our bodies are meant to yo-yo between 1-2 pounds. My PT has told me to stay off the scale and only way myself every Sunday morning. I am going to stick with this as weighing myself daily has caused me to question why I am even attempting to lose weight.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Hugs,
Vanessa

This is WEEK TWO of workouts with my PT. I can't believe I have stuck to this! I usually give up before one week is done, however that was when I was trying to do this all on my own. My PT is wonderful and I am so blessed to have him in my life right now.

It is SO HARD stay off the scale! Weigh ins are Sunday mornings and I hate not watching what my weight is doing. I think I may have to lock up scale and throw away the key.

The food thing is going okay, except that I hate having snacks! I feel like I am force feeding myself and then it makes me feel sick to my stomach! UGH! I use to be one of those people though that skipped meals and stuff. Funny thing is that the workout is not as hard as the eating part.

I'm thinking of ALL of you and cheering for you even though you can't hear me!

Vanessa

Im glad you are doing so well!

Although you feel like you are force-feeding yourself, its better
for your metabolism than skipping meals :)

great work, keep going!

Okay, so hubby had to take my beloved scale away from me because I was obessed with it. I have been told that weight naturally goes up and down between a pound or two. This has caused me great distress and many tears. With that being said, my hubby made a decision last night to take the scale away and hide it from me. He said he will bring it to me every Sunday morning to weigh in as my PT has instructed.

UGH!

Also, I am still having a hard time eating. When I eat I feel like I want to throw up and I get physically ill. I am so use to skipping meals and never having snacks. Anyone else going through this?

By the way, thanks to everyone for your continued support. It means a lot!

Wishes,
Vanessa

....

Sorry to hear about your beloved scale being taken from you. Id be mad if someone did that to me, haha.. cause im obsessed with mine too. I understand why he did it though, he doesnt want to see you upset over something if there is no reason to be.. if you weigh yourself once a week, you WILL see results, as long as you stick to your healthy eating and exercise plans. If you step on the scale once every day or more, you will only feel discouraged. *hugs*

As for the sickness.. I have never experienced that. However, it DOES make perfect sense that your body is reacting because it is not used to having food constantly.. but trust me, once your body adjusts and KNOWS it will get food every few hours, your metabolism should speed right up, whereas by skipping meals, your body stores everything because it knows you wont feed it again for a while. Do I make sense? I hope so. :)

Keep going, you're doing well.

Im very proud ;)

I made it to the top of the mountain on Saturday! Oh, there were moments that I felt like turning around! However, my family - mainly my kids were cheering me on. Here is a pic of me from the hike. I hate sharing pictures - so , please be nice. :)

Thanks again for all your love and support guys! I couldn't do it without you!
