Stomach mucles question

Hello.

I'm a newbie and didn't really know where to pos this, but it's about personal traning so I though this might be the corret place.

Anyway. I do 100 crunches every day and I can see development on my stomach mucles and I am really happy about that, but I'm seeing no diffrence on the lower set of mucles. It's like I've got a 4 pack, not a 6 pack. I mean, the top and middle mucles are developing great, but the bottom 2 are just not developing at all. Anyone who can give tips on how to change this?

Thanks in advance for all help.

Lars.

One thing that you can do is to do full sit-ups, with your legs extended and flat out on the floor, rather than just crunchers. That will work your whole range of motion, and will work all your abdominals equally. Also, if you have a little extra body fat, that can hide your abs, especially the lower ones.

Try some exercises that target the lower abs.

Lying Leg raises
hanging leg raises

Another great ab exercise is rollouts. This will torch your entire abdominal area.

Leg raises are great, there's also pikes. You hold your legs up at a 90 degree angle, like you just did a leg raise, and reach up and try to touch your toes, and go back down. Those things kill, as well as leg raises.

maybe you're not doing the right exercise for this. like every body else here, i would suggest the leg raises. give it a try, maybe this will help.

Definitely the above exercises will target your lower abs more. Leg raises are a good one but make sure you bring your legs up as far as possible to maximize targeting your lower abs (psoas and other muscles are used during the first 90 degrees).
Also, definitely body fat is a big one for exposing lower abs and getting a 6 pack. If this is an issue then work on reducing body fat too.

One of my fav's is the med ball pass. Grab a medicine ball, probaly start with 1 or 2 kg depending on your strength and build up, Lie flat on your back and squeeze the medice ball between your feet, lift your legs keeping them straight and pass the ball to your hands bring both your hands and feet back almost (dont touch down) to the floor still straight and keep passing back.

Also get running and swimming burn some more fat whilst working your core loads.
